Just received this router bit set, and my initial impressions are very favorable. This set comes in a small wood box that will protect the bits in the future. The quality appears excellent, there are no obvious flaws and the cut widths are precise. The bits did not seem to be coated with plastic that some manufacturers use, but there were no signs of corrosion. (There could be a thin lacquer coating that I didn't notice) Overall, this set seems equivalent to more expensive router bits, so it's a bargain at the current price. According to the box, the set is made in China.

They were a nice set to purchase. Gave me a variety to use. I would purchase again. I have used three of them so far. They are great when they are sharp. They do stay sharp for a while. On bigger projects you will either need a couple or a way to sharpen. They don’t stay sharpe forever. And these are a 1/4” shank. If anything goes wrong while routing you will most likely bend the shank and it’s a dead bit. Happened to me. It would be best if you were using a 1/2” shank. My router is not a 1/2” shank. Not sure I can find the part to change it as it’s a older dewalt plunge router. Just beware of the limitations. I had read that 1/4” shank bits for this use you were taking chances.Obviously I was not paid nor do I receive any benefits writing theses reviews. I do it to help you the real users of products.

I am using these bits in my CNC. I started with the 1/2 inch bit and found that I really needed a larger bit. What is nice about a set is you have the bits without having to buy another. Great price as a set. The 5/8 inch bit has seen a good bit of use and is still sharp for my projects.

I bought this set recently thinking that it would be of good quality given that it was priced slightly higher than others. I was disappointed to find out that the bits easily overheated. The protective coating partially peeled off almost immediately and the groove was left with too much burn marks. I suspect that the bits are not sharp enough (or correctly). This does not happens with my other bits (same function) which my wife bought for me at a garage sell.

I bought these router bits to cut juice grooves in my cutting boards. These cut all the sizes I need, and they cut clean grooves in a variety of hardwoods.

Yonico bits are top quality and a great value in my personal experience giving smooth great-quality long-lasting performance. I hope they will market more sets for lovers of wood working who value having the right size bit on hand when adding the details that turn functional projects into works of art for those who appreciate the details. I love those who can work by hand but sometimes "wood machining" fits the time and effort available and nothing yet beats a sharp carbide cutter except for those who keep other cutting tools even sharper, IMHO.

Good bits and reasonably sharp. I have used the 1/2 bit and it cut Baltic Birch with ease and had a good clean cut. I made the cut in one pass as the groove needed to be 1/4 in. deep. The bit plowed through the wood with ease. The bottom of the groove was symmetrical and clean. I have no hesitation recommending these bits for the DIYer. I did not give 5 stars as I am sure there are better much higher priced bits. For my uses..... it is a 5 star.

I use them for high speed router. CNC milling. They do the job and last long time.
