I put this on the dresser that is next to my bed and use it as a night light. The light goes very low so it does not disturb my sleep but gives off enough light so that I can make it to the bathroom without tripping on my cat. Great dimmer switch and cute item That is not too big nor too small.

The good: It's an authentic, hand-carved piece with a beautiful natural finish. Its flower shape makes it especially decorative on a desk or nightstand. When turned on, it emits a soft, warm orange glow that creates a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere at night. What I noticed about humidity: I live in a hot and humid climate, and after a few months, I noticed small droplets of salt water on the surface; the lamp started to "sweat." At first, I thought it was a defect, but then I discovered that it's normal for genuine Himalayan salt. This is due to its hygroscopic nature, which means it absorbs moisture from the air if left unlit for a long time. How I care for it: I usually leave it on at night, as the heat from the bulb helps evaporate the moisture. If it's left unlit for too long, the surface can become damp, so using it regularly helps keep it in good condition. The only significant drawback is that the power cord is rather short (approximately 1.2 m), which may limit its placement depending on the layout. In short: A beautiful decorative lamp that works well and is still functioning after almost a year. Just be aware that it requires basic maintenance if you live in a humid environment. Recommended if you're looking for natural-looking ambient lighting and don't mind humidity.
