The box is made of very good material. I loved it. The problem here is the shipping treatment.
It simply comes covered with a cardboard box and should be more protected. I think with Styrofoam corners and a little more, because it is an item worth more than $500, it should have much better packaging with more protection. I will return it

worth every penny
very lightweight so doesnt take 2 guys to install and doesnt take from mpg, but sturdy enough to keep ALL of my tools as well as my 3 ton jack(probably around 60-80 lbs). i live in sw florida where salt and sun and rain is beating this thing daily for about 3 months, and ive yet to clean it. still looks as shiny as it looked out of the box. BE AWARE THAT IT IS VERY SHALLOW. I like the fact that it is shallow enough to fit things under it in the bed of my truck. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE METAL DRILL BITS. there are only 2 holes you need to drill. i tightened the J bolts with an impact after i lined it up and its going no where. overall very pleased with it.

The product is not what is described.
It is smaller than the dimensions, it is only 20" wide, 14" deep.

Good quality
This box is very well built, great looking and at a good price. I only wish there where premade slots for the J clamps. Instead you have to drill your own holes and it will require a fairly large metal drill bit.

Very happy with this product
This is a great product at a great price, especially for PRIME members. Looks great, and was easy to install. Very sturdy as advertised, and the lid mechanism works great to hold the lid open and makes for easy closing. The only thing keeping this from 5 starts is that the lock mechanism isnt' exactly heavy duty...a highly motivated individual with a crow bar could potentially break into it, but it would take a lot of work, and is therefore not much of a concern. Overall the product exceeded my expectations for the price and is a great value.

Came undamaged
No dents, works well, I wish they shipped a second hold down bracket.

light, decent quality and dents.
Just took the box out of the cardboard. Small but noticable dents on the edges on both the front and the back of the lid. Name plate is loose and cannot be tightened with the original fasteners. I read the reviews prior to purchasing, don’t buy this box if you cannot live with dents. I’ll keep but it’ll be the last DeeZee box I buy online, apparently DeeZee is ok with bad reviews rather than springing for a little styrofoam to protect their/your product.

Damaged Upon Delivery
Not only did this toolbox arrive 3 days late, it was damaged as well. Definitely not worth the money.
