Can you wash this in the washing machine?

No. Lovely, soft blanket, but instructions say to hand wash. Had I known that I would not have ordered it.

Can I machine wash this blanket?

Instructions say to spot clean I haven’t tried to wash.

Yes, but do not put it in the dryer

Is there any cushioning?

Not really, but the back is lined to prevent moisture from wicking through should you put it on damp grass. This is a nice feature and we like the blanket very much.
