Sevigny's Thin Ribbon Candy - Made in USA. 9 Oz. Box, (2 Pack)

I am not sure why Amazon wants multiple reviews for the same product. I buy the candy for my brother, he loves Christmas candy. I have not had any issues yet, with quality, color, or stickiness. I would say they are addictive because my brother always asks me if I have some, even when it not close to Christmas. I buy a lot of Christmas candy, so I can definitely say, I will buy them again.

The candy is a rip off. $12.50 for candy crumbs. They taste like life savers, so save your money and just by life savers. They are broken up so if you are looking for the Christmas ribbon look else where. Even if they weren't broken, $12.50 is very expensive for 8 pieces of candy. Amazon delivered quickly. The two small boxes were in a brown paper bag.

we look for this every year. I grew up with eating ribbon candy and know we are sharing it with our grandkids.

I have had ribbon candy before in my life and it is good. I ordered two boxes one for my family and one as a gift I open the box and broke a piece off and gave a piece to my child we both hated it it was absolutely horrible it was so chewy we couldn't even finish chewing had to spit it out. Now it says you can't return this item! Buyer beware whoever is sending this out- this is like 30 or more years old it is absolutely horrible it's like as if you had a candy cane and kept it for 40 years then open it up and try to eat it and it is just done! This should be thrown out how dare this company send out this s*** to people on Christmas so pathetic and sad shame on them!

Order arrived in pieces. But still edible. Not thin like old ribbon candy I remember. Very thick.

I’m not one for knocking stuff but if care was taken for packaging the candies would have shown up fuller than the shards they were. It’s not Amazon’s fault. The package inside is super flimsy and when I read the box it even says something along the lines of the product most likely not making it through shipping to ease the receiving on my end. With times as tight as they are for me, reading that off the package felt more like, “Thanks for your purchase. It’s broken. You’re welcome.” The only other thing that was a surprise to me as a first time buyer is that the box tells you the possible contents, being the flavors and underneath it, they specify that it’s a random assortment in italics. One box of the two pack was all cinnamon. Lets just say I’ll wait to open the other.The candies were nice enough for a festive addition to the day but even they looked less like they did 30 years ago. I guess that’s all things though. If you need something colorful for your table or add to your hot cocoa, these were good for that. I don’t recommend giving them to children though. They were so broken that I couldn’t really use it for anything else than melting.

The candy is just what I wanted: thin ribbons of delicious hard candy. Unfortunately, the Amazon warehouse provided no padding around the boxes - just placed them in a larger cardboard box - so the candy had no protection from breakage. There was a warning on Amazon that there may be breakage, but geez, there was a LOT of breakage. Some of it was completely shattered. I'd buy the candy again, but not from Amazon.

Christmas is surely a time for being with family and friends, baking cookies, drinking egg nog, and remembering and reliving holiday traditions. This ribbon candy brings back many fond memories of Xmas past.The candy is sweet without being too sweet, similar maybe to other traditional hard candies, but with a wonderful ribbon shape that looks so festive in a small holiday bowl or dish. It just calls out to you to break off a piece to nibble on, then another and another and another! LOLI do recommend this candy for those who want to be nostalgic or for those who want to start a "new" holiday tradition in their house.
