Huge step up over the generic ones
I have restored a couple old bandsaws, but this is my first time using Woodstock tires on them. In the past I’ve used the generic orange ones that are sold by a dozen manufacturers on Amazon. These ones from Woodstock are a huge step up. They have a lot more stretch to them, which makes them easy to install. They are also much more “grippy” and rubbery than the orange ones. The orange ones are shiny and slick, like plastic(you can see it in the picture I posted). The BIG reason these ones are better is that they don’t have a seam! The orange ones have a definite bump where the two ends are joined to make a loop, and you can feel it in the bandsaw blade when you use it (thump, thump, thump...). These ones from Woodstock are molded as a single piece, so they are consistent all the way around. They were also the perfect width for my 1961 delta bandsaw. This model has a recess for the tire to sit in, so if it was too wide I would have to trim it to fit. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase, and I’ll be buying these tires from now on.

The BEST tires for your bandsaw
The absolute best part about these tires is the fact there’s no seam!!! The orange poly tires that everyone sells ALL have a large seam where they mend the tire together, which produces a lump your blade runs across when spinning. These have no seam which make them worth every penny. Easy to install (well, as easy as any other bandsaw tire lol) and easy to stretch evenly (with a few round abouts with a small screwdriver or whatever to make sure the tire is evenly squeezing the wheel). These tires also feel like a better quality than the orange poly ones. Not your typical plastic feel but a nice grippy feel. I’ll 100% be using these for every bandsaw I rebuild from here on out. Love ‘em!

Nice fit.
These tires aren't exactly easy to install, but the wouldn't fit correctly if they were. I bought a blue set a couple of years ago and they were very easy to install, but I had a lot of problems keeping them on the wheels. The black ones are working well so far.

The old style is the best. New poly not so much

Works Great
I was worried about them it fitting my band saw, it is a 30+ year old saw and the original importer (American) is no longer in business. They fit and work great. They are a little tricky to get on, but the instructions clear and easy to follow.

Great replacement
Worked great when you follow directions. Heating the tires in hot water is a must. Also wearing gloves for working tire onto rim. Great product

Works but wish they weren't black
The tires themselves are fine and work as they should. Tight fit but did eventually get them on my 14" Delta bandsaw wheels.***Do yourself a favor, spend a few more bucks and get tires that are not black.***It can be very difficult to see if your blade is tracking correctly against the black tires. They were such a pain to get on, which all urethane tires will be, you won't want to take them back off to change the color. Trust me, you will wish you had spend the few extra bucks. I know I do every time I change blades.

Easy installation
I was expecting a struggle to install these tires but with a bit on planning they went on with ease. The key is to clamp the tire in place with a single device and then work the tire on using a small dowel (I used a 3/8). No heating of the rim required. The tire appears to be a great fit and the blade tracks nicely now. The real testimony will be how it performs in the coming years. So far so good.

Great Product! Great Price..!
My Bandsaw is an old Durex which is a Taiwanese cheapo model that was put out under several names. I inherited it from my Dad who bought it in the early nineties... The original tires by now were cracked, loose and were just about falling off and the saw was throwing blades. My concern was that these bands here are supposedly for 14 in. wheels but mine are about 13 & 3/4 in.(they fit nice and tight anyway!) I removed the wheels and cleaned them off as is suggested. It was a cool day(about 9 degrees C. outside..) and I knew that even with soaking in hot water, the bands would cool instantly as soon as they touched the cold wheels,as the bandsaw sits in an unheated garage which is even colder .... I got the rather "off the wall" idea that maybe I should heat the wheels themselves up, so I put the both of them in a preheated 200 degree Fahrenheit oven and left them there for about twenty minutes... (only an ex-Chef would come up with this one...!) Worked like a charm...! The heavy aluminum wheels were warm to the touch and kept warm... Once clamped in my bench vise, I had no trouble in grabbing the bands with both hands, and stretching them upwards,(rocking them side to side as I went....)and over the top... Then, also as suggested,I ran a dowel all around the wheel under the band to even out the stretch... Piece of cake...! I wondered if heating the wheels might melt the bearing grease so I waited until they were cool and then sacrificed a quarter in. glue brush by gobbing up the bristles in lube and then sneaking it through the spindle hole and re-greasing each bearing from it's back. A hand spin after that had the top wheel spinning for over a minute before it stopped...! Fabulous! The saw runs terrifically now, and is much quieter and the blades ride dead center and stay there... I also tightened the motor belt, went over the whole unit, and now it glides through 2in. oak like a hot knife through butter... Terrific product at a terrific price...!

Rubber replacement tyres fr 14" King bandsaw
It took me a while to get it on to the wheels, but once it settled on the wheel, it works like a charm.

Good for Delta bandsaw model #28-206.
The media could not be loaded. I gave 4 stars because of poor item description and the tires in some spots didn't cover the whole widith of wheel. So for those of you who need new bandsaw tires I'll save you the time that I spent researching. These tires measure about 1" wide but that dimension is not 100% accurate in some spots, and they're .110 thick. I installed these tires on a Delta bandsaw model #28-206. They seem to be working fine. The best thing about the tires is the price, if I had to get them some where else they would have cost double the price.
