For the price , a good deal. Good brightness, hanging & carrying features. The red blinking light to show you where it is in the dark is so minute , it is almost useless & why use up battery energy even if very small? Closing the battery compartment is somewhat awkward & could be improved butnot a deal breaker for most. LED is so much better than other lighting alternatives, especially for camping and when your electricity goes out.

This is a SMALL lantern, so check the dimensions before you buy!!Also, pay attention to the pricing, it seems to vary a lot. I had this item in my cart for a long time and watched the price go up/down.I bought it for $19.95!

Perfect lamp to have for camping. This lantern can be hung from the top handle or with the hook underneath. It has 2 brightness levels, has a rubber top and bottom to absorb impacts if dropped and takes only 3 D Batteries that seems to last forever. Not a bad value for the price as compared to other lanterns.

This lantern may be small, but it's VERY bright ! I bought two of them, because I live in Florida and you never know about the weather here. Easy to operate. It takes 3 D batteries, which I stocked up on just incase !

This is a sturdy well designed LED lantern that runs on 3 D cells. The only thing I didn't like is the flashing green light that drains the battery over 2-3 years. But, this problem can be worked around by either not storing the batteries in the lantern or putting a piece of tape to insulate a battery contact during long term storage.

The media could not be loaded.  Zur guten Qualität der Lampe wurde in den anderen Rezensionen schon genug gesagt, daher hier nur ein wichtiger Sicherheitshinweis für den Gebrauch der Lampe in der Nähe von Maschinen oder bei der Autoreparatur:Die gedimmte Stufe der Lampe wird über eine Pulsweitenmodulation realisiert, das heißt die Lampe wird in einen stroboskopartigen Blinkmodus versetzt. Der schnelle An-Aus-Wechsel erscheint dann für das menschliche Auge als sei die Lampe einfach nur dunkler. Im Allgemeinen kein Problem, aber in der Nähe von rotierenden Bauteilen entsteht - wenn wie bei dieser Lampe die Taktrate zu niedrig ist - der gefährliche Effekt, daß die Rotation viel langsamer aussieht oder es so wirkt als würde das Bauteil gar nicht rotieren, sondern stillstehen. Hier besteht die Gefahr schwerer Verletzungen. Ein Warnhinweis seitens des Herstellers wäre hier dringend angebracht!

Hier hatte ich mir die Akkulampe mit einem fest eingebauten Akku vorgestellt. Ist leider nicht der Fall. Die zusätzliche kleine rote Leuchte blinkt in gewissen Abständen, was zur Entleerung der Akkus führt auch wenn sie länger nicht benutzt wird. Und jedesmal wenn man in den Keller geht die Akkus aus- und einbauen sollte nicht sein.
