I have all kinds of knives at home, but this one is one of my favorites. It is just the right size for most everyday tasks, and I also am not afraid to use it rather freely, as it is not very expensive. It goes into dishwasher, into the sink; I cut frozen foods with it, etc. It copes with all these abuses beautifully and remains my good companion in my kitchen for a long time. I might add that it keeps its edge quite well and it is easy to sharpen.

The knife came in razor sharp (there is now a bald spot on my arm where I tested it). It is full tang 12 inch blade about 1/8 inch thick and about 2 1/4 inch wide. Nice and heavy with good balance. The handle is thick and made of plastic. A careless coworker put a notch in the edge. After disposing of the body, I was able to grind the notch down and re sharpen the knife quickly and easily.

Very sharp. Just cut up some tri tip with this blade and it worked well. For the money, you can’t beat it. Viva España

I have mostly Henckels knives and was looking for a 4" paring knife for a lower cost. This one looks good, but the blade is noticeably thinner and has more flexibility than higher end knives. It came very sharp and seems like it will hold an edge well. The top of the handle is well contoured to the tang, but the bottom side is not a good. A bit more radius on the handle edges would be nicer.

Great knife - very well constructed and super sharp! This is my second Arcos paring knife - they hold their edge better than any of the other paring knives that I own.

Das Messer ist gut verarbeitet . Die Klingenform u. länge finde ich optimal . Die Klinge ist aus einem guten Stahl u. hält lange die schärfe . Ich habe die Schneide noch mal auf Leder abgezogen um feinste Grate zu entfernen . Ich habe noch mehr Arcos Messer u. kann diese nur empfehlen , weil auch Preis-Leistung stimmt .

Excellent for the price. On the lighter side, very sharp, retains edge well, looks better than you’d expect for the money. Very straight blade. This is my 2nd Arcos knife.
