Just what I was looking for! I’ve had a hard time over the years finding this kind of clip in this larger size. I love using them to hold my hair back because unlike other clips, they don’t bother me when there’s a headrest behind me. They’re also flat enough to be worn under hats/helmets. This particular set has been great because not only does it have different colors, but somehow it is made in a way that doesn’t get hair stuck near the rivet, which has happened with other brands. I especially love the gold color! These are great! I haven’t had them long enough to know how well they hold up long term yet, but they didn’t start chipping or losing finish or discoloring within the first few weeks, so that’s a promising sign. So far they look perfect and work perfectly. Highly recommend.

These snap hair clips are very large, easy to open & close especially for my arthritic hands. They are very plain & shiny - more conspicuous than I thought they would be. So I bought some lovely wee fabric roses to glue on a couple of the clips. (Just need to figure out what type of glue will work!). They do tend to slip after several hours but not a problem to run a comb thru’ your hair & reset the clip. Altogether a pretty good purchase.

Bought these types of clips years ago and I enjoyed them for many years. My old ones have good tensile strength, work smoothly, do the job, and have kept their shape for years. I saw these longer ones and assumed I would find the same quality. Ridiculous thought on my part. These are so flimsy using once caused the clip to be bent. A very deceptive description of a very deceptive product. Save your money and keep track of your older clips.

I should've looked at the photos closer. These are real metal and appear to be quality, however they are comically oversized. I wonder if people use them in costuming and such. Not the subtle metal pin I wanted for daily tasks XD. I have curly hair of slightly thicker than average density, they seem to work fine. They're appearance is merely comical.

They’re too big and the colour is not the same at all so it looks weird on the hair. I don’t recommend. Over priced too.

OK... I have seen the moaing reviews so thought I would add my thoughts. These type of clips are not really made for or meant for holding up (or back) great swathes of heavy hair. I have very thick hair down to my backside and mostly use elastics or scrunchies but there are always those shorter stray bits that find their way out. It is my honest belief that these are not meant for heavy duty use. I have dropped one star as they are a a bit cheap looking and a tad overpriced but otherwise I am happy with them. Big pack so no matter if one loses some along the way. :)

Love these and great value for money - my only gripe is that the photos are a little misleading... the black ones are very similar to the silver ones :/
