This is the second RBC17 replacement battery ordered for my 2006, APC Back-UPS ES-750 backup power center. My first APCRBC17 original equipment battery was purchased in February 2018, and lasted 8 years through over a half-dozen power outage events and it has performed as advertised each and every time. It's great that APC continues to offer replacement OEM batteries for equipment this far into the lifecycle. The battery was 1/3rd the expense of a new APC unit with 10 outlets. It is unnecessary to resort to aftermarket when APC provides you with an original equipment replacement battery.

Having had this replacement battery for just over 2 months now, my APC 750ES ups unit has completely shut off/lost power on two separate occasions while I was using my computer that is plugged into it. Note, the house did not suffer any kind of power hit or loss, JUST the ups unit (how ironic!), which I have owned for over 5 years and never did this before on the old battery. I have no way to prove it, but I'm of the opinion there is something wrong with this battery that is causing this behavior. I don't understand why this ups unit wouldn't continue to function even if the battery were dead or ever absent, at least as a surge protector or power strip but I guess that's the way they're designed... the battery is the 'bridge' through which all electricity must pass, so if it goes all power is lost. I am requesting a replacement or refund through Amazon so we'll see what happens. ** EDIT - I have since started using the replacement battery Amazon sent me and I am still having a problem with the unit occasionally just losing power for no apparently reason, so I don't believe I got a bad battery I believe the APC unit itself is having the issue.

What can I say, this is APC. Their products are always great. I own several APC UPSs that often require battery replacements. It is cheaper to replace the battery than purchase an entirely new UPS. The battery comes well protected in the carton and is marked CAUTION. The battery is super easy to connect but be aware it is a little heavy so if you have Arthritis you may want some help swapping out the battery. APC quality if top of the line so I highly recommend this battery if you need to replace one. Remember not to dispose of the dead battery in your trash, take it to Home Depot or some other location that collects dead batteries, even a automotive place can dispose of it properly for you.

Works, the only thing that sucked wasn't even it's fault, my white cord was bound in the serge protector but after some bs wiggling I got it in. The battery itself was easy to put in after, I like it.

Worked well and fit well in a BE850M2. Needed replacement after about 3 years.

Dopo sei anni di duro lavoro il mio APC 650 ha cominciato a lamentarsi emettendo un suono intermittente per comunicarmi che dovevo cambiare la batteria e la luce rossa sul fronte del mio gruppo di continuità lo confermava. Mi sono subito attivata per sostituire la batterie facendo ricerche in Amazon. In cui si trovano anche batterie compatibili più economiche, sinceramente non me la sono sentita di acquistarle perché credo che sia meglio spendere un pochino di più piuttosto che rischiare di avere un prodotto non in linea con le aspettative. Vero il detto: Chi meno spende più spende, questo lo penso soprattutto per questo tipo di prodotti tecnologici ed essenziali per la salvaguardia dei nostri Pc. La batteria mi è arrivata in imballo originale con istruzioni, che sono state essenziali per me perché non sono particolarmente esperta su queste cose. La sostituzione è semplicissima, basta sfilare la precedente batteria e collegare la nuova. Appena ricollegata la luce del gruppo di continuità è tornata verde. Il cambio è stato molte semplice e veloce.Ormai l'ho installata da oltre un mese e fa il suo lavoro egregiamente preservando il mio computer da sbalzi ed interruzioni di tensione. Viene garantita dall'azienda per un anno dall'acquisto sia per la sostituzione che per la riparazione. Consiglio l'acquisto senza alcuna riserva il rapporto qualità/prezzo resta alto viste le prestazioni. Aggiornamento del 24/09/2023 la batteria sta avvertendo che deve essere cambiata E' durata ben 5 Anni con uso PC molto frequente!

Just bought another one of these, the last one ran for seven and a half years, the UPS being on for all of that time. Very easy to install. Rather expensive as a lead battery, when you consider that it's basically a motorcycle battery, but a reliable replacement that has never swollen or leaked. This is the second replacement I've bought and would but it again for my ever-reliable APC Back-UPS CS 650.

Identical to the battery I was replacing, as advertised, delivery was 7 - 14 days, came in 2 days. Set it up and was operational in about 2 minutes.
