Our 6 year old loved this set. He had a Charizard themed birthday. I just ordered it not knowing what to expect. He's already doing 100 piece puzzles and building things so wasn't intimidated by the small pieces. Instructions are in Japanese but the pictures were good enough for assembly.He wants the whole collection now!

These were not like the well made Tomy figures. These were cheap hallow puzzle snap together crap toys. Wish I never ordered. What a disappointment, especially after how long they took to arrive.

The stickers needed to put on make them look horrible and do not stay on. Definatly not worth the price as they are so small and you end up having to glue and paint them anyways.

This comes in pieces and you have to assemble all of the different figures. It's a little tricky and time consuming, and I had no idea that would be the case, so FYI, you build it yourself.

These are figures you have to assemble yourself, which was fine, but the stickers are awful. You're supposed to wrap tiny stickers around feet and tails to give the colors and fine details, but they don't sit right. These worked ok for my purpose (to put on my son's birthday cake) but many of the stickers have either fallen off, or never attached correctly in the first place.

How did I not see the reviews on this product!?! I am usually so rigorous over this. I have had so many of the Tomy Pokemon models for a silimilar price for the evolutions of Pokemon, that I honestly believed this would come assembled. Not a good buy. It is a couple of pieces of plastic and some stickers. So disappointing! Going to invesitgate how much it will cost to send back.

I purchased this knowing kit was a model kit. For those unsure of what that is, it is a product full of plastic pieces that you have to put together yourself - think like a jigsaw of sorts. It also comes with stickers for the smaller details, in my experience with model kits glue is usually a good idea here!This model kit is high quality and I'm surprised at the price :D I purchased this as a Christmas present so I haven't seen it completed yet but it looks like a pretty basic kit, good for beginners. The instructions are obviously all in Japanese but it's pretty straight forward and each step has clear pictures.It contains models of charmander, charmelion and Charizard. Charizard can be posed after building but I'm not sure if Charmander/charmelion can be.Model kits are a cheap and fun way of getting high quality figures, I'd say age 6+ with adult help and a child who enjoys puzzles and building but probably more of an 8+ product. The recipient of the one I've purchased is 24 though :)Model kits shouldn't be shunned, they are a great middle ground between the standard plastic non poseable figures and figuarts/figma etc :)

I initially thought it would be assembled upon arrival. it isn't. and most of the color on the figures are not painted on it is stickers, which makes the figures incredibly ugly when you are done assembling them. otherwise if you don't mind painting them yourselves you should not have any problems.

Be prepared to wait (my 6 year old was frustrated) the parts are very small and the larger figure needs assembly. Lasted a good day before the smaller parts got lost, which is not a manufacturer fault but if it is going to a young person it would probably happen to them too

This product does not come assembled. The figures come in bits and attached in a plastic frame for self assembly. When put together - they look nothing like the product picture.
