Good simple travel journal for kids
Was searching for a travel journal for my 5 yr old for a big trip we’re taking - 11 days. There are so many kids journals out there and it was hard to find pictures of what many of them looked like on the inside. So I’m posting some here to help out other parents. This is a very basic journal with the same 3 pages repeated for the entire book - after the first page with the space to write the child’s name. Each day has 8 short writing prompts to help kids reflect on their experiences and a page with 5 small boxes for drawing pictures.I think there are probably lots of folks for whom this simple design would be perfect, but we wanted something a bit more engaging with more space for drawing pictures, so ended up going with a different travel journal that had a spiral binding and color pages.Still, it’s a good value for the number of pages you get and the pages are a good thickness. It is also light weight with a sturdy soft cover and a good size for travel.

Great journal
This journal is great for kids and young teens because it gives prompts. The only small criticism I would have is it would be nice to have an extra lined page for each day with no prompts as the space provided for the writing is somewhat limited. Of course, I got it for a one-week vacation so the child I purchased it for can use several days worth of pages for each day. All in all, it would be a great journal for a daily diary. I would like to see the publisher make one more for a one or two week vacation with the extra blank pages.

Journal
Bought several of these for summer vacation trips. Well made. Good variety of pages to write ones travel experiences and also places for photos. Recommend this for adults or children age 10 & up.
