These are exponentially exelent bits for my hand brace. They cut super well and leave an amazing finish. Worth every penny!

While they seem a little expensive compared to some other brands on here, they're definitely worth the investment. Having started out with old dull bits that took ages with a hand brace, these Wood Owl bits pull themselves through the wood and produce quite a pile of shavings while they do it. As expected, the largest bits are more difficult to turn but still quite manageable in a hand brace. I really like that they all use the same size shank, though it's larger than expected and may not fit some braces with the old style 2-jaw chuck. Overall fit and finish is excellent, ready to use out of the box. I kept the little plastic caps that came on the bits for protecting the screw tips and cutters when not in use.

Decided to start using a brace for some of my woodworking projects, looked at some of the bit assortments and picked the WoodOwl based upon reviews and a few YouTube videos. Very nice set of bits that provide a nice clean hole. Very impressed with the sharpness and overall quality of the bits. Will be picking up some sizes larger than the 1 inch. A good investment.

I seldom write reviews but these bits are amazing. I drilled full depth with the 3/4 bit through black walnut and it breezed through it. Super clean entry cut and clears chips beautifully. The coating seems super durable. Very nice bits.

I have not had any tear-out with these bits. Somewhat pricey, but in my opinion, worth it.

I have only the 1" bit of this set; it is sold as 1 inch and bit is labeled 1 inch but the sleeve it comes in says (verbatim) 1"/25mm. Unfortunately, 1 inch = 25.4mm, and .4mm is too great a tolerance for most things you might want to put into a 1 inch hole. You cannot drive a 1" peg into a 25mm hole without disaster.

The drills are sharp and make a nice clean hole. My only problem was that I had to drill trough 5 1/2 inches of wood and the cutting length is only 5 inches. It is annoying when information is absent or misleading. Otherwise the drills are great.

Great quality product! Have used these bit a few times with my new French brace and it cuts through wood like butter! Holes are super clean with very little to zero tear-out!
