Works well, looks good, good price!
I’m using this on a 2010 NC Miata with a Dewhel shift knob and I think it looks great. I did have to mod the factory shift boot, just basically removing the plastic ring at the top opening for the shifter shaft. With some twisting and a little effort I was then able to get that boot to fit around the notch at the bottom of this boot/knob adapter (inserting the adapter from the bottom first through the top of the shift boot hole). Minimal effort and the results look great, definitely a nice little touch from using just the shift knob on its own. It also helps with alignment the shift pattern on the shift knob, acting as a lock nut of sorts that helps with adjustment.

Seems like great quality
Fits nicely in my NC Miata Club with this bamboo shift knob. Quality feels nice. The cutout where the shift boot is supposed to sit is a little bit too wide for the hole in my actual shift boot, and I didn't really want to cut the hole in the boot open more. So I just have the boot wrapped a bit higher up on the retainer, and I think it looks nice. Overall it looks good and gets the job done.

Solid for NC Miata:)
Works as intended and hides the gap that comes with using a small ball shift knob on the NC Miata. Had to cut out the small ring on top of the shifter boot so it could fit properly. If you choose to not cut that ring it won’t fit under or above the retainer. Overall feels pretty good for the price and does it’s intended purpose, just be ready to modify stuff to make it fit.

Shift Knob Swap
When I changed the shifter knob on my automatic Subaru WRX, I had a bunch of thread left uncovered so I decided to get this to hide it and prevent damage. It was just what I needed and looks good to boot! Highly recommend!

Great price and finish, fits mazda threading, needs a tapered/bigger bottom hole for miatas
The threading and everything is exactly as listed on site. Fits Mazda standard manual thread pattern. However, for Fiat 124 spider/NC Miata shifters, the bottom hole is too small to provide decent threading for the shift knob. You will have to widen/taper whole with a step drill bit or dremel tool, or maybe just buy a different one from a different company. But for the money, and with the right tools, its not a bad option. Would be better if they tapered it or made the hole bigger in manufacturing though.

Does not fit a ND Miata "2016+" (EDIT:Does with modification)
The threads are the correct size and pitch for the ND Miata (M10x1.25). The problem is that the boot retainer is too tall and deep. It bottoms out on the shift weight, exposing only about 3 threads at the top to allow for your shift knob to thread on. The Miata is going to require something much more low profile/shallow.EDIT: it "can" fit with modification. The stock shift knob retains the leather boot by pushing down and sandwiching it against the flared thick part of the shifter. I used a Dremel and a sander to cut off and remove the bottom stepped portion of the retainer. I could then screw the retainer down to sandwich the boot in a similar manner to the stock knob and leaving enough thread up top to thread on a knew shift knob.Works even better with my setup because the knob I got has a drilled recess for a reverse lockout, so the the boot retainer sits about 3/4" inside of the knob.

Improper fit
Didn’t fit 95 integra, went few threads but didn’t go anymore enough to fit knob

Nice finishing touch
This is great for replacing a factory shift knob and really tying the set up together.Only adds a little over a quarter inch to the installed height of the knob but looks and feels perfectly finished.
