Is this made in usa? or china? it says only designed in us.

The tag on mine says Made in Indonesia.

Is this plushy sealed with Velcro or stitching? I need to put a voice recorder inside.

It is closed with stitching, not velcro. Don't know how hard it would be open it up and then re-sew. The dog is no longer with me so I cannot check.

Does this dog's fur have a somewhat coarse texture? I read some reviews saying it did and was wondering if anyone else had that experience.

This dog has a little coarse fur compared to many other plush I carry. I would not say it is extreme it is very cuddly and soft as well. Just different than most of my plush.
