Headlight Restoration Polishing kit, Headlamp Brightener, LuDuo

I am mostly happy with this headlight restoration kit. It gets 5 stars simply because of the value. It is inexpensive, and does do the job. Really the only thing I didn't love is that the included tape was crummy and tore a lot. Although many other kits that are similar don't include the tape to protect your car's paint, so it wasn't enough to remove a star from the review. Everything else works just like you'd expect it to, and using the drill to buff out the lights was way better than previous kits I've used by hand. It's easier and more effective, and I would buy this kit again.

This product looked promising and the first few steps appeared to be really helping. The last step of the protectant seal was AWFUL. We followed the directions perfectly. Avoided sunlight, then provided direct sunlight to cure the treatment. By the time it was fully completed the headlights looked SO BAD we ended up having to buy new ones and paying over $100 to do so. My advice is to go to a professional and save yourself the headache of time and money wasted only to have to pay even more to buy new headlights.

My headlight was so oxidized and scratched it was hard to see the actual bulb inside it.After following directions and sanding the lens followed by polishing I was amazed at the difference.After putting on the UV coat and letting it cure my light now looks new.Not bad for a kit that was under 6 dollars.I only did 1 light since the other one wasn't bad so I have another use when I need it.

Easy to use and simple but clear instructions for a layman. I like it and it worked great for my 15 year old Camry. The headlights are now really shining and free of yellowness.If there’s any suggestion, I would say the application of the uv coats could be improved because the sponge can mess up easily. They could provide a small brush instead. But overall I am very pleased with this product kit.

Sounds easy enough to sand your headlights with a drill applicator. But don't sand too hard or you'll "melt" the sand paper onto your headlights and they will be permanently stained

Finally finished my lights today. Product worked pretty good. I can really tell the difference. I used my drill and an extra 3,000 sand paper. (Only because I had it available)

Simple instructions easy to understand. Lights look a lot better. I wish I would have taken before pictures. The only thing that doesn’t last is the sand a paper, it rips off the Velcro that attaches to the sanding pad. Also when you use the sealer a little goes a long way. If I do it again I might use some spray paint clear.

I wasn't sure what kind of result I would get with this product considering how yellow and hazy the headlights were on my 2006 Mazda 3 with 203K miles. As you can see from the before and after photos, it did an amazing job and with minimal effort. Doing every step in the proper sequence as instructed is crucial. It actually looked somewhat worse after the wet sanding process. It took quite a bit of buffing and polishing to clear up the haziness. It wasn't until applying the last protected sealer did it finally restore the headlights to like-new condition. I couldn't be happier with the result.
