I’ve had these for two weeks now and honestly I’m still on the fence a little bit. Believe the reviews that say there is a fair amount of noise. My noise happens around 25 miles an hour and it’s more of a whirring sound like an airplane or some thing - a vibration, once I go faster it goes away totally. I have no whistling. Yes it’s loud enough to hear over the radio no matter how loud. Now I find myself shopping for some objects that can go up there with them to help with the wind noise. Fairing? I love the way they look, makes my Atlas moreSporty in my opinion. I’m not sure if I will keep them or not or if I should’ve just bought a more expensive brand from the dealership itself. I’m really not interested in adding something else up there.

I love this product even though the rails cause more noise than without.still 5 stars because the look makes up for it!

First of all, the rack looks decent quality and provides secure assembly.What I hate is the manual says nothing about the length of each rack, so mine order came with different length on the fixed part of the rack, so even with adjustable feet, the shorter rack won't fit into the front end of the side rack due roof side rack on Atlas is wider on front.Same problem with longer rack, it won't fit on the rear part of the side rack because distance is short on rear...So warning to customer, your order may have same problems, you are limited to put both rack in the center to rear position of the roof so your skybox or bike rack distance is limited.Customer service is slow and didn't provide good info overall. I asked about warranty and no respond.

Even when the bars are adjusted to their narrowest setting, they are still too long to fit the factory rails on my 2019 Atlas. Huge hassle fiddling with it and trying to get it to fit only to have to return and find something else.Save yourself the trouble, spend a little more money and get an OEM set of rails. Not worth the headache.

These are not roof racks for a VW Atlas, which is how the listing makes it seem. These are one size fits most roof racks that make a LOT of noise on an Atlas. Starting at speeds as low as 20mph depending on the driving conditions you hear rattling and wind noise and it gets worse and stays worse at highways speeds. Trying to figure out how to return them right now

The crossbars do the job and holding our cargo box and kayak racks, but they are soooo loud! Thought we could just take them off when we aren’t using them to haul things, but they aren’t easy to remove. Wish I would have put them on and tried them out before the deadline to return was up.
