It works
I have a Dell Optiplex 7010 that is a great PC but rather dis-concertedly only has Displayport sockets if you want to use more than one monitor. Plugged this in and "bingo" my HDMI monitor works fine. Personally I don't think there is room in the world for both Displayport and HDMI but it is what it is and this adaptor works perfectly in an imperfect world.

occasionally one will cut out, give it a wiggle and works again, swapped ports over both ends, still the same, may be over heating issue

Not for long term use - both failed after a week
Both of them failed within a week or two of being continuously plugged in to a Dell desktop to drive a projector. The computer no longer recognises it has a second monitor attached.

Très bon produit
De bonne qualité, arrivé dans un emballage soigné, ces 2 adaptateurs ont été très simple à mettre en place et tout de suite reconnu aussi bien par l'ordinateur que par les 2 écrans. Je recommande sans hésitation !

Funciona bien, pero cuidado
Los adaptadores de DisplayPort solo se pueden usar en el origen. Es decir, de un ordenador DisplayPort a una pantalla HDMI. No se pueden poner en el destino (cable HDMI a pantalla DisplayPort). Esto es por diseño, no es culpa del adaptador. Yo pensaba que me serviría en ambas direcciones, pero no. Aprendí después que no va así. Buscad en Google. Así que este adaptador hace lo que tiene que hacer: DE PC DISPLAYPORT A PANTALLA HDMI. No al revés.

Ottimo prodotto per il prezzo pagato, la qualità dell'immagine è molto buona anche se non eccelle (qualche piccolo difetto d'immagine) a risoluzioni più alte del FHD. La robustezza è ottima, forse anche troppo, occupa decisamente spazio (per essere un adattatore DP a HDMI). Il prodotto è buono, fa il suo dovere e costa poco, i tempi di consegna sono stati impeccabili.
