The biscuit part is crispy and tender - but not sweet. They are a sandwich type cookie so the middle is the maple part - it is sweeter than the biscuit - mild maple flavor in my opinion. Very faint maple - was hoping for a bit more maple forward. The two outer biscuits are thicker - so it is a mouthful to bite - but you could serve with tea because it is such a rather bland cookie over all. It was ok. But I probably wouldn't buy again as for me personally it just wasn't my favorite.

Delicious & fresh

As a transplant from the border of Canada now residing in Oklahoma I find that I have to order my comfort foods. Maple creme cookies are one of those foods. Thankfully Amazon sells most of what I need and I can get it within a week. Being a Prime member helps keep costs down with free shipping. Fortunately for me these cookies cost no more than the basic chocolate chip cookies that can be found everywhere. In fact these Canadian cookies were cheaper than the ones from Vermont. Of course that was beforeTrump started messing around with tariffs and angering our neighbors to the north. The cookies were crisp and the creme was soft and smooth. They were NOT stale. The only issue is that some of the cookies were broken. They need to be shipped with a label that says fragile do not crush. That or they need to be packed in a box rather than just an envelope. I don't think an envelope with internal bubble wrap would be enough to protect the cookies from getting broken. I got lucky that they weren't smashed to crumbs. I would still buy them again, I'm addicted to them.

This package came in perfect condition! Not a one broken! They seemed great texture not stale. But just not maple flavor. The whole reason for buying these are cause they claim to be made with real maple. Unfortunately it falls a little short from actually tasting like maple. I'd say if they increase the maple flavor a tad it would make for an amazing Maple cookie. But I give it 1 star becaue to me the main reason for buying this was for the taste of Maple that I was very much looking forward to and tasted nothing.

My husband and I love these maple cookies. The cookies tasted lovely but they were broken up too much.

i decided to buy something from Canada to let them know I care. Glad I did. They are really good. I shared them with friends, and I think they will buy them, too. Delicious.
