750VA UPS Battery Backup, 450W AVR Line Interactive, USB, Ultra-Compact (AVR750U)

I bought this UPS to power my cable modem, wifi router, and hubitat hub just in case of a short power outage. We usually don't get length outages, but I wanted to protect from the occasional power dips and glitches so everything doesn't reboot (and for my hubitat hub to not get a corrupted database). My setup was tested a few times so far with very short power outages and it worked fine. It would beep once when the power went out, and that was it. No loud continuous beeps or chimes. This backup unit is pretty heavy and large. I was planning to put it behind my two-drawer credenza, but it was just too wide and thick. Instead, I have it sitting on the floor just to the side of the credenza where it operates quietly (no buzzing at all). In all, I'm very happy with my purchase and hope it will power my devices long enough to last through future short power outages. Update (12/11/2021): I've owned this UPS for over a year now and it's been working perfectly. It lays quietly on my office floor next to my credenza and powers my WiFi router, Cable Modem, and Hubitat Hub. I've had a few power outages and it worked great, keeping my devices powered up for about 2 hours before shutting down. No issues what so ever. I'm glad I made this purchase.

When you work remotely and need to interact with other people, video conferencing is usually the medium where that occurs. And, if you present to executives or customers, the last thing you want is to drop from a call because of a power surge. I bought two of these - one for my modem, router and wifi and the other for my laptop, external display (which also supplies power) and my camera. I was in the middle of a meeting with one of my execs - which was urgent and difficult to schedule - when we had a power surge that lasted for about 2 seconds. I continued my presentation without any interruptions, secured buy-in for my project and no one knew that I was sitting there in the dark for 2 seconds. (I was sharing my computer screen so no one was going to notice the change in lighting.) If you work from home I would highly recommend this UPS, especially since the battery can be replaced. These batteries only have a useful life of a few years but you can recycle the old ones and insert new ones without buying an entirely new UPS. Very satisfied with this purchase.

I ordered this UPS on October 25, 2023 to use with my home desktop computer. We have a whole house generator, so I bought this Tripp Lite 750VA UPS battery backup and surge protector device, primarily to keep my computer from shutting down during the short time between any power outage and the generator start-up. All was great for the first year! We had several short outages, and the Tripp Lite worked well. At some point during the night of November 11, 2024 the Tripp Lite UPS shut down. To my surprise, my computer had turned off, and I couldn't get it started. After a small amount of sleuthing, I realized that the problem was the Tripp Lite unit. Even though everything was connected and we had had no power outage, the Tripp Lite was off and providing no power to my computer. I connected my computer directly to power, bypassing the Tripp Lite, and of course it worked. I was disappointed that it had been unexpectedly shut down, and had to make sure I hadn't lost any important information, and save the correct versions of the various documents that had been open. Per the owner's manual, I turned the Tripp Lite back on, but I didn't reconnect the computer to it. I was about to shut the computer down to disconnect it and reconnect it to the Tripp Lite, when I noticed that the Tripp Lite had shut down again!! Something was obviously wrong!! This UPS came with a 3 year warranty, and failed shortly after only 12 months. On November 12, 2024, I contacted Tripp Lite support (the company apparently has changed ownership) for help, via the product website, and got a quick response that I would be contacted in 48 hours. Great! However I never heard anything. On November 19, I reached out again, this time responding to the company's email that had promised a within 48 hour response. Again, there was quick response stating I'd be contacted within 48 hours. Unfortunately, there again was no follow-up (yes, I checked my spam folder and my account spam folder on my email providers website). I reached out a third time, on December 12. This time there was no response, what-so-ever. BE CAUTIOUS WHEN CONSIDERING BUYING A TRIPP LITE PRODUCT!! IT APPEARS THAT TRIPP LITE HAS NEW OWNERSHIP, AND IT APPEARS THAT AT LEAST SOME WARRANTIES ARE NOT BEING HONORED!

Packaging is decent. Device was easy to unbox, set up, connect equipment, plug in, and power on. Includes a user guide and warranty / registration information. Favorite advertised feature: Silent alarm. Easy one-button power button, and LEDs for status. A neat feature I really like: The power button is on one end, the wall power cord on the other. FINALLY, a design engineer was thinking about the end-user and usability of the product - YAY. I have owned a variety of TrippLite products over the years; at work we purchased TrippLite rack-mount UPSs. At home I have used TrippLite UPSs and power / surge protectors. One of my favorites: Tripp Lite Isobar 10 Outlet Audio/Video Surge Protector Tel/Modem/Coax/Network 8ft Cord Right Angle Plug (HT10DBS) Regarding tech support - I have never had to use it.

Got the 750 VA model- and lasted 4 years without any issue. OG battery died recently and got that annoying LONG beep and the backed up outlets stopped working. Got it all fixed by replacing the internal battery with AJC Battery Compatible with Leoch DJW12-9.0 T2 12V 9Ah UPS . Powered back up and working again. Hope it lasts another 4 years. We shall see.

This review is premature because I have not had a need for this device yet but right before I had three electrical blinks that turned off my desktop and it just killed my momentum each time. Really excited to have wifi for about an hour (anticipated amount of time) and have a chance to turn off my desktop properly when power goes out completely, but thrilled to not have to do a thing when power goes out for a second. This thing is massive and heavy, but it comes with quite a bit of power and has sooooo many outlets that it can do some serious quality of life improvements. If it fails to do the job I’ll follow up, but so far this is the beastly improvement I needed in my life

I have several of these UPS battery backups and they all work very well. So when I needed to replace a very old backup I bought this model again. When I received the shipping (Amazon) box and opened it the battery backup box was crushed and small pieces of the UPS fell out. I immediately started the return process but found that the UPS was not returnable due to the battery. I called Amazon customer service and they were great, as always. They requested a replacement and the seller immediately sent it to me. I received the new UPS in perfect condition; no issues. Thank you.

We are prone to power outages and have a house generator, however, there is that 30 second loss of power before the generator kicks on. Because of that lag, the internet is out for 10-15 minutes while everything reboots. I had been toying with the idea of a UPS for a couple months and after some power flickers last week, I ordered one using one day delivery. I installed it on Sat, and on Sunday we had a windstorm which toppled trees and knocked out the power. It was so cool to just be online without the delay. Installing the unit was easy. It took longer to decide where I wanted it, then it did to plug it in and go. Highly recommend getting one.

Para activar la garantía me comuniqué con Qplus como viene en el instructivo, después, me mandaron dirección cerca de mi ciudad ppara hacer el tramite, (PC market) llamé y me pidieron mandara copia de la factura y que llevará físicamente el aparato para hacer efectiva la garantía.. Yo vivo en Irapuato, ellos están en León , el aparato es nuevo, por que tengo que llevarlo físicamente ?. Me parece incongruente.TKS.

Bought this unit a year ago. Started having issue less then a month in. The unit start beeping for no reason. Need to remove the battery every time. I have less than 100w total plugged on the battery side. Talked to Amazon and got the issue fixed but the problem reoccurred a month later. Ask Amazon, and they told me to contact the manufacturer. Been sending emails for more than 6 months now (4 Emails Total) Not a single answer from the manufacturer. I would look somewhere else if you care about quality and consumer support.

Unit would constantly shut down while working. After speaking with their support they tell the battery was at fault and shipped a new one. Not long after it began again. Unit is now disconnected and I will not re install or recommend this product.
