It Really Works!
I saw this stuff in a You Tube video which featured the greatest hockey player EVER, Robert Gordon Orr telling how this stuff eased all his pains. So I said to myself if it's good enough for Bobby Orr and he recommends it, I know it is good stuff and it is! I developed "Trigger Thumb" and it hurt when it locked up and just ached all the time. Using this stuff the pain is virtually gone. It really works, just like Orr said it did.

Good product when not expired!
The product, AND its replacement, were the identical expired date (by 3 months!). The expiration date was concealed by a bar code sticker over it - shady!! I called and emailed the company's customer service but never received a reply. It's too bad, because the product itself is good.

This didn’t give me much relief from joint and muscle pain. Also, I didn’t care for the smell. I realize pain rubs often don’t smell very good, but this was worse than most. Not for me.

"So far it worked for lighter joint pain"...
Last year I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis grade 3 in my knee and tendonosis above the knee. Thus, I have been actively doing PT exercises to strengthen the leg, using various natural and less natural anti-inflammatory creams, massage, TENS/STIM unit etc. I had a a cortisone shot a few months in which brought the pain and issues way down so these days I am having mostly pain-free days or "LIGHT" joint pain on days I overuse the knee. The REVIEW:COLOR -- pale yellowish color that reminds me of Grey Poupon mustardTEXTURE -- on the thinner side and more creamy with liquid properties more than being a firm creamSNIFF -- a moderate sniff of smelly dirty gym socks? Like I have experiences with some other holistic anti-inflammatory creams, the "stink" is often not very good. This is one of the smelliest I have experienced. I don't know if other people can smell it with pants on, but needless to say I added a couple of extra sprays of fragrance on days I use it.SENSATION -- no tingle or burn feeling after application like menthol based ones so it doesn't numb the pain like thoseI used it at work after dinner when I had LIGHT joint symptoms since I was mostly off my feet that day and the cortisone shot that reduced my issues. I can tell it took the edge off for sure and it works. I do question if it would work well under "moderate" or "severe" symptom days, but I will need to test that out when it occurs. And I am not going to do anything to induce that so we'll see. I guess you will have to look at the price listed and see if it is worth rolling the dice. For me, I am still on the fence.

Only Worked on One Type of Pain
Having chronic pain, it is often difficult to do certain things. Worse when a new pain or form of it comes along. Some prescription pain meds are harder to get, and often the OTC meds just don’t get it. Or take it away completely.I’ve also tried NUMEROUS rubs and lotions.A good one back about 25 years ago, was Banalg. It came in a glass bottle, was a blue lotion that smelled like Pepto Bismal. My mother went through tons of it for her knees. Today? It is rare to find.I’ve also tried: BioFreeze, BenGay, IcyHot, and Aspercreme. The only one that worked with some success was BioFreeze. But, that is rather pricey.Seeing this, I thought I’d give it a chance.Since it is from Canada, it is measured in grams. In U.S terms, you’re get about 2.8 ounces for (as of this review) around $11 before tax. This is a dark ivory, liquid type cream. So, it tends to get runny when applying it.It was about 40% effective on my knee pain, yet my lower back (and the infamous sciatica hip pain) – it wasn’t even 15% effective. My mother used it on her shoulder join and found only about 10-15% relief. The active ingredient is cayenne. I’ve had better luck with menthol. For me, I didn’t detect an odor. Then again, I’ve smelled far worse stuff. For the price, this really isn’t worth it. I can save $3-$4 and use BenGay to get about the same relief.

Didn't help much, sadly.
Honest review here.Sadly I did not find that this was helpful to me. I wish it was.I am in my mid 40s but have beginning pain for joins in my hands. This LivRelief Sports & Active Pain Relief Cream unfortunately did not help a ton. It's a mild yellow color and a slicker cream than a thicker moisturizer type. Very loose feeling to it...i.e. more liquidy than creamy. It's not a great smell but not strong either ... I prefer no smell but it wasn't strong so that was good. When you apply it you don't get a sensation of tingling or burning at all... in fact I felt nothing. I wish I did have a sense of numbing or some type of relief.I have to be honest in saying it did not help me to the point that I noticed it was helping. Perhaps it needs to be used more over time? I was looking for instant relief which I did not get.Hope this is helpful!
