Drill Free Sport Clip (Option: f/SE Sport 200/300)

This seems like a well made product but it does not fit a Tohatsu 30 HP engine because the hydrofoil would extend 2 inches too far out.

The SE Sport Drill Free kit is great. I fitted it to a Yamaha 25HP 4 Stroke. I adapted the instructions to suit as the Yamaha lower skeg prevents the kit from locating as far forward as SE Sport say. So I had to use the lower plated as my guide (not the top plate as recommended). Apart from that it was completely hassle free. I bolted an SE200 foil on it and now the boat works like it should.

After several uses I noticed one day it came off my outboard engine. It worked as designed but will not hold as designed. If you are considering purchasing this item make sure you check it after each use.

It was a bit awkward to install but the video did help. Since I didn't want to drill into a new motor and possibly negate the warranty, this was a perfect solution.

This is a great product. Watch both installation videos 1&2 for proper fitting.

I had some doubt re whether SE Sport CLIP would stay connected to the motor but thankfully it did. It seems very solid. My only disappointment was that due to the shape of my 30 hp Mercury motor there is about a 1” gap between the motor and the slot in the Hydrofoil. I did not notice any forced spray coming through the gap so I am pleased with the purchase. The SE Sport 200 Hydrofoil does also get the nose of the boat down quicker after takeoff.

Be sure it's compatible with your engine. It is not installable on small HP Suzuki outboards, mine is a 2024 20HP. That being said, the concept is a option to not drilling holes in the cavitation plate but as I was unable to install it not sure of the functionality under pressure when running on plane. Solid looking product with easy to follow installation instructions, just be sure of compatibility.

Ne s’adapte pas nativement sur un Suzuki df15A de 2024. Une modification est obligatoire rendant la garantie obsolète. Sinon top pour ne pas percer le moteur.

Les trous pour fixer l’hydrofoil ne s’enligne pas bien sur la plaque de fixation. Aussi les boulons fournis avec les écrous ne son pas compatible. J’ai du acheter les écrous 1/4 moi même.

Want to use it drill free installation but was not listed on description it won't fit with my outboard (suzuki dt15). When received package just the back of the item's cover had a list of incompatibility. Wasted money. Not happy at all.

There was a review that said it fit someone’s 25HP Yamaha, IT DID NOT FIT MINE
