OPPO Reno 10x Zoom (Jet Black, 8GB RAM, 256 GB Storage)

Dear friends after a week usage of this mobile I am writing it's review. First I like to say that I am a big fan of lg flagship phones however a long wait lg didn't came with any new flagship phone so I went for oppo 10x zoom due to its new innovation in camera and latest configuration in mobile except display and wireless charging. Friends this is my first phone from Chinese company Oppo, but I must say it has met my expectations and may give a good competition to many big brands. I did a long research on Google and YouTube before it's pre-order but then also I was not so much confident about the brand. But now when it is in my hand really it is worth for your every penny . You must be aware of it's all features as you will get it from anywhere online but I like add which nowhere company has mentioned. I tried to test it whether it is waterproof or not, so on my risk I kept the phone in water for around 30 secs, surprisingly built quality of phone is so good nothing happened and it is working perfectly. As claimed by company battery backup last for one and half days of normal usage and for game lovers it will last for one day without any heating issue. Mobile charging is very fast. Display is good not best. Camera is also good gives original tone but not best. Colour OS is great. Overall I will say it is worth for every penny you are paying for it. So over

Here is my review about this device after using it for 3days. Initially I had plan to buy one plus 7pro , eventually I preferred this phone over one plus 7pro aft going through the reviews in youtube n all other blogs n some customer reviews as well. It turned out to be the best decision ,though i was bit scared initially but so glad i have this now. 5 major appealing features of this phone which might push you to go for it. 1. Camera I think its the best in this segment , it clicks flagship level pictures in natural light n artificial light, One plus 7pro has no match with this device, trust me. Front camera shoots decent selfies but still there is a scope of improvement but again does a better job than one plus 7pro. 2. Battery, fingerprint & face unlock It lasts a whole day despite heavy use n the vooc charger is super fast n as good as warp charge. Charges ur phone 80% in 35-40mins n charges 100% in around 75-80mins. In display fingerprint is very fast n works every time. Face unlock works so smooth n fast as well . No issues here as well. 3. Processor It is as smooth as it can be. No lags at all n no heating issue.Credit to Snapdragon 855soc n cooling system of Oppo reno 10x. 4. Audio Dual streao speakers are really great. Without earphones , u can enjoy good quality surround music. The most unexpected n pleasant surprise is the type c earphones provided by oppo reno 10x. Premium quality n decent sound with good bass. 5. Customisations Though color OS has no match with oxygen os or stock andriod due to its look n feel but it should not be deal breaker because it is not as bad as the hype going on around. It has so many customizations to play with. Just explore , u will definitely love it. My verdict, if u want the best smartphone overall in 50k price segment, then go for this device guys. U wont regret. Trust me.

I am sure all you guys who are looking to buy this phone would have gone through lot of reviews on oppo Reno 10x . Herez my take after a week of usage. I would not get into the speeds and feeds assuming you have already done your bit of research on that. I shall give you a practical overview While on the whole phone looks up market and beautiful, there ate few chinks in the armory as well. Build quality is good except that the volume up and down buttons feel little creaky, not all that confidence inspiring. Screen looks very good and good viewing angles. Highlight of the phone is the front camera. While in a normal environment you may find the shark fin camera quiet in its upward and downward movement, but in a relatively quieter place, you would hear the motor working. Not a deal breaker though. What lets down the phone is the Color OS from Oppo. After using Samsung and One plus's Oxygent OS, Color OS from Oppo feels amateurish. Hope Oppo puts in some serious efforts to ramp up the look and feel. At times the phone feels sluggish and i am sure it cant be the hardware, coz the phone packs the best hardware configuration possible. I brought the phone for the camera and luckily it hasn't disappointed so far. On thing I hope Oppo makes it available using a software upgrade is the feature to do wide angle recording using the wide angle lens. Surprisingly its missing. If some of the other flagships cane make it possible, it should have been possible with Oppo as well. The zoom lens gives some decent photos and you can manage with this phone if you have forgotten to get your SLR. Cant replace it though (too much to ask from a camera phone) Night time photography is at par with the best available( well almost). The accompaniments with this phone will definitely bring a smile to your face. The back cover is good and the head phone decent The phone does very well in the battery department as well. I have been able to get 1 and half days with moderate usage despite lots of map usage. On the whole a great package and if you can pardon Oppo for their Color OS, I am sure you will love the phone. I did consider the one plus 7 pro as well before picking this one and am happy i went for this. Let me put it this way.... Oppo Reno with Oxygen OS inside would have been an unbeatable combination (just like Shikhar and Rohit at their best). Happy phoning!!!

I purchased this phone last month . With discount and exchange for 29k. It is worth every rupee. The camera has optical zoom of 5x and it is really working very well with out loss of detail that's amazing ..above 5x the color quality reduces . The digital zoom is 60x. With Dazzle on , the photos really come good . The AI mode in camera works perfectly . I woukd say the camera quality is very good thoug not the best . Photos in wide angle also come stunning . The battery lasts for a day on normal use and charges in one hour .. Very good battary system .. Phone has 256 gb memory and 8 gb ram.. Along with high power processer makes it really fast phone My phone got updated to color os 7.1 which is released last month only .It improves camera and video shooting . Now zooming possible during video .. I am using Microsoft launcher and it works seemless as on my earlier phone . Phone has incredible audio speakers and USB C digital head phones. Multiple mics for better recording .. I did not like the built in gallery app Photos , some photos are never seen in this app. The phone is big in size as screen is bigger . I miss 90hz screen here .

Best buy ever. I bought it at 32K (8/256GB). This is killer flagship phone. Back camera 📸 quality is awesome, also 10X Zoom is awesome. Front camera is ok not awesome. I facing issue in some games are lagging and not playing smoothly, remember only some games. Phone is little bulky and 3.5mm Jack is missing. You can use 2 Sims at a time or 1 SIM and SD card. Which is worth buying the One Plus 7 PRO or OPPO Reno 10x ? Well it's both and depends on what you need the most. If you want a better display then it's One Plus 7 PRO, if you want a better camera then it's the Oppo Reno 10x. Design wise Oppo Reno 10x looks beautiful, likewise the curved display on One Plus 7 PRO also looks great, but design is always a personal choice. I own a One Plus 7 6GB variant and this Oppo Reno 10x, and my friends lent me Huawei P30 PRO and One Plus 7 PRO for comparing. Here are my detailed observation's. Below is my observation on Oppo Reno 10x zoom compared to devices like One Plus 7, One Plus 7 PRO which are priced very similar. CAMERA - FRONT ============== 👍 16MP f/2.0 26mm wide - excellent selfies and Oppo has already mastered this art. 👍 Shark Fin pop-up design which has lesser moving parts, looks cooler and better than regular pop-up camera CAMERA - BACK ============= 👍 Triple camera setup offering a total 16mm to 160mm focal length of photography and has OIS and EIS. 👍 Primary camera is 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor, with f/1.7 aperture, 26mm wide, has Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), and Laser/PDAF. 👍 Periscope design 13MP f/3.0, 130mm, 5x optical zoom telephoto camera that has Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), and Laser/PDAF. - Allows 10x almost lossless Hybrid zoom 👍 Ultrawide camera with 8MP, f/2.2, 16mm 🆗 Slow-mo: 4K at 60fps/30fps, 1080@60fps/30fps, 720p@60fps/30fps. Not a deal breaker 👍 Type C version 3.1 👍 Bluetooth version 5 with aptX HD, A2DB, LE OVERALL - WORTHY BUY ======== ::::::::::::::::::::: 👌🏼 A great phone for pure performance in terms of Processing and Camera. 👌🏼 Absolute buy for anyone who is looking to into Video Blogging, Gaming, Multiprocessing and applications that requires large resources like video editing on the go. 👌🏼 Great camera with multiple options and features makes this a good contenter to the Huawei Mate 20 and P30 PRO, though P30 PRO is outstanding and better but expensive. 👉 If Display is the most important with SD855 processor go with One Plus 7 PRO. 👉 If Camera & Battery is most important with SD855 processor go with Oppo Reno 10x >> In my perspective I loved the curved 2K display of One Plus 7 but that 90Hz (can be reduced to 60Hz) and 2K display is draining the battery faster and on-screen time is less than 4 hrs for high usage. >> When compared to One Plus 7 am bigger Battery, Higher RAM and storage, great Telephoto Lens with 10x hybrid zoom, a good Ulta-Wide Camera, the flagship Sony IMX586 48MP camera and a very good post-picture software processing from OPPO. Also the Ultra Night Mode 2.0 for low light photography is very good and can be ranked next to Huawei P30 PRO. >>With even more money to spend the Samsung S10 PLUS versioncan be better option than One Plus 7 PRO or Oppo Reno10x with Samsung having better display than Oppo. And with surplus money the Huawei P30 pro for ultimate camera performance, but no android or Google app updates after 3 months due to US restrictions on Huawei & Honor. Certainly Oppo Reno 10x is a great all-rounder and I loved my Oppo Reno 10x than my One Plus 7. 💟 Thanks for Amazon for the quick delivery and getting exclusive. >> If price is an issue, One Plus 7 is definitely a good alternative with great specs but lesser camera options and battery. If you are on a budget and want a flagship killer, you might want to wait for Xiaomi’s Redmi K20 PRO which is planned for release by mid-July and will hopefully be sold cheaper than One Plus 7. Xiaomi usually has a lot of bloatware and advertisements in app but might change. We need to wait and see the comparison for the flagship killer awards. Also Poco F2 to be released soon but will not use the Snapdragon D855. ❓ Oppo Reno 10x zoom is not completing for the Flagship Killer title like One Plus and Xiaomi. But this is the best device from Oppo till date and is a perfect all-rounder. UPDATE: After a month of use, i loved this phone than my One Plus 7. The camera is super awesome both for videos and still photos, even in low light conditions. The Color OS 6 upon usage seems to be very good, no lags, very clean and simple interface, always have 3.8-4GB of free RAM even with huge number of application installed. I can reply from notifications, or swipe up notification, options to mark certain notification as unimportant so they don't pop up but remains hidden until we expand (i guess it a PIE feature but very well used by ColorOS6,). Vibrations can be felt on the back of the phone while speaking on call on full volume but not definitely not a deal breaker and its very less and won't feel if you use a case. I feel i had made a perfect choice on buying this phone.

As somebody rightly said "this phone can zoom into your soul" One star less due to u can't use zoom of periscope camera while vdo recording... Pros : nice back camera..crisp and clear photos 6x optical zoom ..very few mob has 6x zoom There is image stabilization which works good U get almost loss less zoom upto 6x Low light images are also ok Slo motion vdos are good but would have liked super slo motion in this price range. Sound output from headfone is great It supports hi res sound It has aptx drivers so no issues in sound department Good battery backup ..it can easily run whole day with heavy usage 20 watt Vooc charge ..charges 60 percent in nearly 30 min Dolby Atmos support ..loud and clear sound from bottom firing speaker Earpiece acts as secondary speaker ..not loud though ... Somehow dolby doesnot support Bluetooth headfones sw update might fix this issue Type c headfones is provided ..they are having good bass and clarity i liked the headphones Color os is not as bad as it is advertised .. i liked the os ..just a few things that needs to be corrected in notification section ... Screen is good amoled display not much to talk about .. Snapdragon 855 and adreno 640 can handle any game without lag Also the bezelless and nothch less display gives u emmersive exp while gaming and watching vdos Cons Bulky and heavy Not having ip rating for dust and water due to that shark fin camera Shark fin camera gathers dust ..so not sure how long will this thing last without making impact (though oppo claimed that they have tested fin camera for 2lac times) Notifications can't be swipped out ..you have to wait for 2 sec before they disappear by themselves ..can be solved in future updates Apart from that i really liked the color os Selfy camera is average ..sometimes overprocesses the images Call quality is great Overall it is a good phone ..

Phone looked good from all aspects for first week. Post that realized, phone is not charging even after keeping it on charge for 3 hours. When used other power adapter it was charging. When reached out to Oppo service "[email protected]", asked me to prove the issue is with power adapter by using it with other phones. Post that they suggested me to visit their service center in Mumbai with the power adapter, knowing well the service center is closed due to COVID. Though Oppo asks to use original accessories (especially power adapters), they suggested me to use alternate power adapter till their service center resumes operations. Oppo is not a customer sensitive brand.
