Drop in replacement and upgrade over the old deteriorating dual cone speakers for the 80's in my 1978 Ford F250 , paired up with the 90's era Sony stereo sounds clear and with decent bass & highs , good quality & value just what expected from a brand name like pioneer very satisfied.

I picked up a 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe for my teenage daughter to drive to school and within a month, both front door speakers were blown. The car comes with the Infinity audio system and sounded great so I was a little hesitant to only spend the $30 or so for these speakers, thinking that I might appreciate the better quality by going back to speakers that were over $100/pair. I am glad I went this route. I really think these speakers sound just as good and maybe better than the factory Infinity speakers. Highs are clear and there is definitely more bass from these speakers. Installation was a little tricky but that is just because Hyundai has a proprietary mounting system with the old speakers permanently glued to the assembly and riveted to the door panel. I cut out the old speakers with a utility knife and used an oscillating tool to cut through the plastic braces to remove the speaker magnet. The Pioneer speakers for perfectly on the vehicles mount and just needed a few pilot holes drilled to screw things into place. Just make sure to also pick up the correct wiring adapter for $15.

I bought these to replace my stock Ford speakers, and they are an upgrade. That is also a low bar to cross. That said, they are decent for the price-which is very low. Just don't expect too much, and I think you'll be happy with these.

Replaced 11 year old factory speaker and used noise dampening behind speaker as water shield with opening near bottom to allow adequate air movement by the speakers. Sounds is much better than the no sound (dead) factory speaker. I listen to the radio at a normal talking voice level and I don't crank up the volume, because I don't want to prematurely damage the speakers. Excellent for the price: sound is good for music; adequate base response - good enough for me for the price, and excellent for talk radio, because of better mid and high range. If these speakers fail in the next 3 years, I'll update my review.

Worked great replacing oem speakers in d21 hardbody . Clear sound , easy install

Tried these for a day and returned them. The sound quality isn’t bad but the bass just wasn’t enough for me. You can feel just from the weight that it doesn’t pack enough punch. If you’re not a huge stickler for bass, I’d consider these a good low budget option, at least temporarily.

I needed to replace a damaged factory speaker in my Kia Soul's driver door. These speakers, a set of adapter rings from Nulth, and a NVX silicone baffle made for the perfect fix. Went ahead and replaced the passenger door speaker so the impedance would match. The factory speakers are only 2 ohm, but these get loud enough for my purposes despite being higher. I'm not a teenager looking to rattle the windows of houses I drive by, but I do love some bass heavy electronic music. These are not only a perfect replacement, they're a slight upgrade over the factory speakers. The highs are clear and the lows thump like this car has never done before. I might replace the rear door speakers too just to get the better sound quality.

Nice set of speakers. Work really well in my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe. Nice sound out of it. I was a little worried as the price was so good. But it's Pioneer. Thank goodness the quality is still there. Good stuff.

Las instalé en un auto clásico con un estéreo CD/Aux Sony, sin ampli ni nada más que 2 bocinas frontales y vaya qué cambio tan drástico en términos de audio. Me encantaron porque devolvieron la calidad de audio a mi vehículo, el bajo se escucha muy bien considerando lo anterior, de igual manera los agudos se escuchan muy bien y se percibe más gama de sonidos que no lograba apreciar con mis bocinas viejas, que si bien no estaban dañadas ya tenían mucho tiempo en servicio y por eso decidí cambiarlas. Estoy muy contento porque valió la pena y por el precio está más que bien. Más adelante pienso adquirir un estéreo de ésta marca y posiblemente un par de bocinas de 4" para la parte trasera. Sin duda Pioneer es calidad

Muy buen producto, recomiendo comprar adicionalmente los anillos soporte para las puertas del vehículo porque a veces los que trae no se pueden reusar
