Finding a stand/holder for the Merkur Futur safety razor is very difficult; this stand is one of the few I have been able to find. On first look, this stand seems like it may not provide a stable holding place for the heavy, long handle Futur razor, but It's solid, heavy weight and large opening accommodate the Merkur Futur very well with the height about right for the razor handle just right too. Of all stands for the Merkur Futur, I found only 3 that might be a good fit - this is my pick for the best option - as it is of good construction, heavy weight, larger opening and very reasonable price. After a few weeks of searching for such a stand, this one fits best.

I bought this razor stand based on past reviews that it fits a Merkur Futur double edge safety razor. Well let me tell you that this stand does not. The opening in this stand is so big that it won’t matter what razor you put in it, it won’t fit perfectly because it’s too big and has too much room. Because there is so much space, there is potential to ruin or mark up the plating on your razor because it moves around while seated in the stand. To prevent this I filled the extra space with tissue paper to minimize the extra slack.Save yourself the disappointment and look for better options.The stand it self it’s not the best quality, but it isn’t the worst. The price point is reasonable. Temper your expectations that it’s will perfectly fit any razor. It lacks functionality.

This razor holder is really well made and it has good weight to it so the razor and holder doesn't tip over. Great spacer saver too in my bathroom medicine cabinet since it stands vertically. The bottom material is made with quality rubber material so it doesn't shift around and if it gets wet it will dry quickly. The small hole in the bottom of the stand is good too so nothing collects at the bottom on the inside of the holder. This holder is small, but like I said before, it has good weight to it, it was well thought out with quality in mind and the price for it was inexpensive. I like nice things and this was an excellent find!

These are really nicely made and heavy. I use one for a shaver, the other for a toothbrush. And since we should be seeing flying dinosaur sized spiders sometime soon, now that we're in the middle of an apocalypse, these would be great in a slingshot too. ;-)But seriously. Nice. Heavy. Good stuff.

I wish I had this years ago. It holds my razor straight up. No more warped blades from keeping it in my drawer. Great quality!!! I love this item. It is very comparable with Harry's holders, too.

It fits my Gillette razor and is of nice quality, but the opening is low so it’s kind of top-heavy. It falls over with the slightest nudge.

Just what I was looking for to hold my regular and safety razor. Good weight and rubber non slip bottom.

Hole in stand was too small. Had to return.
