Don’t buy!
Before I bought this lighter I saw some negative reviews but thought to myself that, nah, not me, I won’t have problems with the lighter I buy. Wrong-O! From day one it never really worked well. I drained the air out of the chamber as was suggested before filling it with butane. But even so I had to keep experimenting with turning the tip up or down to see which way would allow it to light easier. It didn’t often light the first time either way. And when it did light it didn’t stay lit for more than five to ten seconds. Now after two months it won’t light at all. The sparked has quit working. Rarely am I disappointed with an Amazon product but this one is junk level.

It works great!
It arrived earlier than expected, and it was everything that was in the product description.Would buy again.I was trying to give it 4 1/2 stars, only because the on/off switch could be just a bit easier to activate, but NOT a deal breaker.

Great for outdoors!
This is a great all weather lighter. I use it for campfires and the grill outside. It's great for candles because of the way you can bend the neck down. I wish it was just a little longer however.

Went haywire after a few uses.
I thought I finally found an easy-to-use, effective multi-purpose lighter. The igniting trigger is much easier to operate than any of the other products I've been using for years. BUT; the flame doesn't always extinguish when the trigger is released ---have to help it along to shut off the flame. Another few days and another BUT: Sometimes works good. Next time flame goes out while trigger is still pulled. Next time works ok. Also, more problems with flame not going out when trigger is released. Will ask for refund.

It’s DANGEROUS!! Stay away!
I am amazed that this passed any safety bureau standards. The flame continues to go after you let go of the button. If you have to put it down, and the flame didn’t stop, it could be tragic. If a kid would get near it —tragic. I’ve never written a negative review in my life. For your safety, stay away. Hard to fill. Takes a lot of clicks to get it started. Sometimes the flame lasts. Sometimes doesn’t. Really inferior product. I’m not even returning it. I’m throwing it out.

Light
It was very easy to use. I took this to our camping trip. I had to buy the fluid and fill it up and I was set to go. The only bad thing is I had to guess how much to poor in..i couldn't tell when it was getting full. It has a setting to choose from a high flame or low flame. That's pretty handy. The stick/wand part not sure what to call it is flexible so you can bend to your need and get in hard to reach spots. It does takes a couple of seconds to be completely off after letting go of the trigger. Which I like. It was a great buy. Not very expensive and it works great.

Doesn't work
Lighter will not stay lit when trying to light a candle or anything else.I filled the lighter with butane and increased the flame, and it will click on and off. You have to push and hold the button multiple times to get it to light.
