To be honest I just bought the 9v charger. You cant go wrong. You can play as long as you want and you can power up to 8 pedals. Go with the adapter.

If by tascam dp00ex you mean a multi-track recorder then yes, any sound you send into the unit will be heard by the machine and recorded correctly provided you have the right cabling to port audio into the unit. I bought the UC200 for my vocal mic. It works really well to sweeten up my voice. There is a significant difference in your voice output. I am very happy with the performance.
