As someone who loves fresh veggies but doesn't always have the time or skill for meticulous gardening, I was intrigued by Jobe's Organics 09026 Fertilizer. Its organic claims and promises of fast-acting results seemed too good to be true, so I put it to the test in my tomato patch. My veggies grew happily without any worries about harsh additives. Speedy Sprout: Jobe's Biozome, a blend of beneficial microbes, definitely lived up to its name. My tomato plants flourished within weeks, with noticeably more vibrant leaves and earlier fruit production. Drought Defender: Even during a surprise heatwave, my tomato plants held strong. The improved soil conditions thanks to the Biozome seemed to help them retain moisture and weather the dry spell. Pest Patrol: While not a magic bullet, I noticed a decrease in insect activity compared to previous years. The healthier plants seemed less appealing to hungry bugs, which gave me some peace of mind. Convenient Caddy: The resealable bag makes it easy to store and use the fertilizer. No more messy spills or lost product! The Not-So-Good: Potent Aroma: Some reviewers mentioned an unpleasant odor. While I didn't find it unbearable, it's definitely noticeable, especially right after application. Be prepared for a whiff of earthy funk. I'm very pleased with this organic fertilizer. It's a 2-5-3 formulation that is excellent for a wide range of vegetables. I augment it with fish fertilizer for veggies that need a nitrogen boost (such as leafy greens) but for everything else, this works very well. It's granular and easy to work into the ground (or pot/raised bed). As with any organic fertilizer there's a noticeable odor, but it's not bad at all. It's derived from bone meal, poultry manure and sulfate of potash. It also provides a good assortment of bacteria and fungi species to build and maintain a healthy soil environment. It is made in the USA. I've been a Jobes user for years and none of their products have ever fallen short of expectations. This is no exception -- five stars.

I got my package of Jobe's Organics fertilizer today. Unfortunately, after reading instructions on package where it says, in part, "do not feed to animals".....I cannot use it. I have several friendly squirrels who like to dig in my containers where I grow my tomatoes, green beans, etc. It's something I deal with each year. They are pesty but I love them so I may need to do without fertilizer. I'm sure its a wonderful fertilizer. I just prefer to not use it because of my own personal reasons. I'm not sure Amazon will accept this review.

Works great on all my plants outside. Adds nutrientsto my flowers, my vegetables, and of course, my tomatoes. It’s easy to use. It does have a bit of a weird smell to it, but that goes away pretty quickly after you put it by your plants.

It is very stinky. But helps tremendously with everything. The leaves of all my veggies and tomatoes were yellow. The next day leaves were green, and not even a week later they have grown immensely. So far worth it. Coming back a month later: it’s worth it. Mine have more than tripled in size and have flowered so much. Over 30 tomatoes and cucumbers on just a couple plants. I will see what the veggies look like when they are done.

I use this every year on my tomatoes, green beans, eggplants, and various other veggies. Very delicious tomatoes with very little vegetation to remove.

Positive Remarks: - Bag is Resealable - Boosted growth on my Tomatoes and Peas - Made plant look even greener while still producing a lot of fruit - It’s a great value for your money Negative Remarks: None :) Overall: Jobe’s Tomato and Vegetable Organic Fertilizer is overall a really great fertilizer for your plants and veggies. I used this on my Tomato and Pea plants and they have gotten much bigger and produced much more fruit. I would certainly recommend this product to anyone looking for a non expensive but great quality fertilizer for the Tomatoes and Vegetables. **Note: When I received this fertilizer, I looked at the back of the package and saw that it said 1 and 1/2 tablespoons per 4 inch container and then 1 and 1/2 cups per 16 inch container, but when I thought about that, that didn’t make sense. If a 16 inch container is 4 times as big as a 4 inch pot than the application for the 16 inch pot should be 4 times as much as the 4 inch pot but... it isn’t, it’s 16 as much as the 4 inch pot application so I gave Jobe’s a call and they said that the packages they have say that the application for a 16 inch pot is 6 tablespoons (which is mathematically correct) so maybe they updated the packages and after the old ones run out they will send the new one.. I’m not sure, so I just wanted to note that for whoever is a little bit confused by that.

Always good and I don't use anything else, great buy!
