Leven Rose Jojoba Oil Organic Cold Pressed for Skin, Hair & Nails, 4 oz

I am 18 years old with oily, acne prone skin and although I've only had this oil for about a week, I already see a slight difference in my skin. I have used the popular Josie Maran Argan Oil, which is was much too expensive for my budget. With the Argan oil, I didn't see much of a difference with my acne and even though the description on the bottle promised a non-greasy application, I found myself at the end of the day or in the morning with a shiny face. It was a good oil, but wasn't worth the money. On the other hand, this Jojoba oil gives you a much better bang for your buck. The size and quality is impeccable! This oil doesn't feel heavy or greasy and doesn't leave my skin shiny, even after several hours. I can't help touching my skin sometimes because it's gotten SO soft. I also have eczema on my hands that I get during the winter, but the Jojoba oil has kept that at bay. Usually my fingers are red, flaky and rough but now the eczema is virtually gone. And if you rub some into your hair, the oil doesn't weigh it down at all and really makes your hair look healthier and shinier. For my face and neck, I usually use about 4-5 drops which I rub between my hands and apply on my face. This oil also works really well as an eye makeup remover. I wear waterproof eyeliner and several coats of waterproof mascara on a daily basis and this oil removes it quite effectively. Before washing my face, I like to take a few drops of oil in my fingers and massage my eyes. When I'm left with crazy panda makeup eyes, I take a tissue/paper towel and wipe it all off. I'm really thorough when it comes to eye makeup removal so it does take me about 3 minutes but to me, it's worth it. Overall, I 100% recommend this product. You'll find so many uses for it and it will definitely last you a LONG time. Even if you find that it doesn't work with your face, it's definitely great for so many other things.

If you have skin problems of any kind anywhere (especially acne-prone) then you need to buy this oil. I've struggled with acne and very sensitive skin since I was young (I'm 25 now) and finding anything to help combat it was a consistent battle. It got to the point where I felt like if a feather brushed by my face I was going to break out. It wasn't until I started really looking for more natural and less chemical heavy ways to heal my scarred, acne-prone skin that I came upon Jojoba oil. And trust me, in my 10+ year struggle with acne + VERY sensitive skin, I felt like I have tried e-v-e-r-y-thing. I honestly wasn't expecting much of anything. In fact, /most/ of the time, trying new things (natural or chemical) made my acne worse, not better. And not the worse where "it'll get better later", I mean when it gets worse and STAYS worse and then you have to somehow undo the damage already done. Not with this oil. Not even once. This is the only thing that has ever helped: 1. Keep my acne under control 2. Keep my pores unclogged (unlike coconut oil which I do NOT recommend, please do your research before ruining your face with that stuff like I did) 3. Keep my face moisturized without feeling heavy/oily 4. Keep my skin feeling FRESH & CLEAN instead of nasty, dirty, etc. Not only that, but it's perfect for taking off ANY make-up (seriously, it gets it all, especially waterproof stuff) AND helping to nourish my eyelashes/lips/etc on top of it. I mix it in my DIY exfoliater and my face serum mixed w/essential oils (it blends beautifully). I cannot talk up this oil enough, and Levan Rose is the only brand that I will use. The container itself is a dark glass with a perfectly sized dropper that makes it really easy to apply onto your fingers to then mix onto your skin. It also helps when mixing with essential oils. I actually have kept and cleaned the old bottles out and used them for essential oil mixes for other things. Reusable = HUGE bonus in my opinion. It gets sent heavily wrapped in bubble wrap with a cute card from Courtney @ Levan Rose thanking you (which is really sweet and personable). It always makes me smile that no matter how many times I've ordered, I always get the same consistency in my oil, the packaging, and the card. The oil is an amazing quality that you aren't going to get if you go over to GNC or Trader Joes and just pick up a random bottle of Jojoba oil. This is the real deal. It's a dry oil, so it sinks into skin quickly and doesn't overstay its welcome. For DIY body moisturizers or lotions, I'd blend it with a fattier oil like olive oil (don't use coconut oil unless you know for certain it doesn't clog up your pores, for most people, it does), but as an every day face moisturizer and make-up remover, it's not necessary. There is no real "scent" either, besides its natural one, which is too faint to notice. Overall, I truly cannot say enough about this oil. It's helped my skin so much. I truly believe every person who cares about their skincare routine should own a bottle.

Great product and absorbs into skin very well and doesn’t feel greasy

One of my must have items is this Jojoba Oil! I use it at least twice daily. My skin and hair respond very well to it as it's the most natural and similar oil to what your body creates and helps repair natural oils and vitamins in your skin and hair. My hair and skin have been much healthier with it and I notice the difference when I don't use it. It doesn’t have a strong Oder, I personally love the texture its oil after all and absorbs quickly. All around wonderful and most natural oil, it's also easy to grow, takes little resources and does not damage other crops. It's non-toxic and very environmentally good to use keeping your skin, super hydrated naturally. It's been used for centuries by indigenous people for healing and health, it’s well worth buying especially at this amazing price!

OHMYGAWD! ok, so this oil is the bomb! lol, prior to using this oil on my skin and hair, for the past few months I was using coconut oil, olive oil and grapeseed oil on my skin and hair. The grapeseed oil brand was Grapeola, and the olive oil brand was the generic Giant brand. I think the olive oil worked a little better for moisturizing my hair than the grapeseed oil, but both of them would still leave my hair feeling very oily after putting it in. And my hair would remain oily for most of the day with both of the oils! And also using them on my skin, my skin would be extremely oily for a few hours, like to the point where a friend asked me if I was sweating (lool) but it was just the oils I had put on! Coconut oil on my hair mad eit feel ery hard, and for my skin it caused any body hair I had to grow twice as quickly, so I had to stop using it (even though it made my skin feel so silky! lol). So needless to say I was in the market for a new oil. I read many reviews on this, and the thing that caught my attention were the reviews that stated that it helped their feel smoother. I have a very kinky afro, so I am ALWAYS having dry hair problems. I got this oil on Friday, March 4th and I've been using it on my hair every day since then. Today is Tuesday, March 8th, and I can honestly say this is the smoothest and softest my hair has felt in years! I can touch my scalp and there is no oily residue, and even my hair in the crown and in the back are soft (and those are the areas where my hair feels the roughest usually). And I heard it helps to keep the skin smooth, and helps with scars so I am looking forward to that! I got a haircut a year ago, and in general my hair in the back grows slower than everywhere else on my head, so my hair in the back is shorter than everywhere else. But my hair has also been dry and brittle, so hopefully since this oil makes my hair feel very soft, it will help my hair in the back grow! I would have given this oil 5 stars, but I've only been using it for 5 days, lol. But in a month (if I remember) I will comment on how it has affected my skin and hair.

Great product. I've been using it for awhile. It's better to have it in glass, so no plastics end up leaching into the oil.

I've spent hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars on skincare for some of the most expensive products on the market. I've tried everything from creams from Nordstroms to toners from Walgreens. BACKGROUND: I am 36 years old and have battled severe acne and sensitive skin my whole life. Additionally, I have started to have wrinkles around my eyes, neck, forehead and around my mouth. Wow AMAZING! This does the trick for everything! Makeup removal, moisturizer, mask! If you take a cotton ball and look at what comes off your skin after rubbing this on, OMG gross! I use one of the more expensive face cleaner systems with replaceable heads and now I am going to stop because of this product. The first time I used it I let it soak in my skin and then I wiped it off. This was after using my advanced face cleansing routine. The stuff that came out from using this product only once was RIDICULOUS! I can't believe I had clogged pores(I recently had a chemical peel and IPL) and again I am done using my routine and using this in replacement. I will still use face wash during the day so that there isn't any leftover oily residue and my makeup will stay on. However at night I don't need to. At first I did to make sure it didn't get any breakouts. When my skin seemed fine I reduced my night routine and now I am down to only cleaning with this and then using a toner and night cream. My skin is so much better in just a month. I had scars due to trauma and now deal with vitiligo. Basically hypopigmentation. White circles on my face. Those have seem to have gone way down and I will never ever stop using this product. Update. I'm now two full months of using Leven Rise Jojoba Oil and now my skin has its glow back. I haven't had a glow since the trama 10 years ago. I was a model and the trama caused me to not only lose all my hair but to have bad skin. I haven't left my house without a hat in years. I'm not embarrassed of what I look like, I just don't want someone to ask me "what happened, are you ok?" My 13 year old son has gone through this nightmare with me and spending time trying to cover my "sick look" without breaking out has been impossible. I can't wear foundation because my skin is so sensitive and even a 200 dollar bottle from the dermatologist won't work. I bought an airbrush machine and that doesn't work. All because my son and family looked at me with so much sadness I couldn't handle it. I woke up hours early to give myself enough time to try to not look to sick. Because of what happened I am now permanently disabled. No matter what I will always be forced to deal with different daily symptoms including migraines that I have to go get scalp injections for. My face looks either bruised and now the vitiligo is permanent. I went from being the bread winner of the family to staying in bed 90% of the time. The other 10 percent I have to be outside at baseball games and I sit with a hat and sunglasses on so no one will talk to me. This product gives me excitement and I wanted to share. If this reaches even one person who can relate then I will feel at peace with that.I am so done spending thousands of dollars on face creams and doctors appointments. I can't afford it and it doesn't work but for a day. This stuff works better than chemical peels and any IPL treatment. Make sure you have PLENTY OF COTTON BALLS TO START because if u "wash" your face with it the first time you wIll see how much gross comes off. After that reapply and Put a heavier amount on your and let it sit for ten minutes or massage ur face with it for awhile. Use a wet cotton Ball again and wipe off. You will want to repeat until you don't see anything but oil on the cotton ball. HAS TO BE FREE OF DIRT. make sure your wet cotton ball it all the way off. I have super sensitive skin and again no reaction. I am not a doctor I'm just giving you my experience and what has helped me. Each day I wake up my skin looks even more polished and healthier. Si el producto es acto para usar en pieles y cabello lo mínimo que se espera es que sea de rápida absorción y de aromas agradable. Si dentro de las especificaciones colocaran Aroma fuerte de aceite seria lo mejor, He lavado las prendas de vestir unas 3 veces y el olor es como si freíste y absorbiste todos los olores , así como que si tomaste un baño de aceite.. Las habitaciones están con el mismo olor a pesar de limpiar y lavar . nunca me había pasado una mala experincia con un producto y este fue el primero.

Absolutely ecstatic about this product. I had used (since discontinued) lotion with jojoba oil in it a year or so ago and found that it did wonders for my skin. This summer I went from having beautiful clear skin to crazy breakouts and sensitivity over night, it was really difficult. I tried everything. Then I remembered how much jojoba oil had helped me in the past so I decided to give it another go. This brand is incredible and their customer service of phenomenal, they sent emails to make sure I received it and to check if I liked it. My jojoba oil has no scent so I’m confused why others say there is a scent but I prefer that way considering how sensitive my skin has become. I use it on my body after a shower and on my face every night and my skin has never felt softer! I can’t beleive the texture of my skin now. Those photos are maybe about three weeks apart, my skin is almost completely clear now. I know everyone’s skin reacts differently to certain products but this jojoba oil has really helped save my skin. I have my confidence back now. The only negative about it is that the dropper in the bottle leaks but for how much it has helped me I don’t care about that.
