Staple Original Ban-Rol Waistband Interfacing 1"

I used it to sew a nice tiny hem on a chiffon bridesmaids dress and to line up trim on other delicate fabrics to prep for sewing. Worked perfectly! The stiff material makes an otherwise difficult sewing project easy. Good value. Doesn't say how many yards of ban roll, but it's a good size roll. Plenty left for other projects & the used scraps can be reused.

I watched a video on how to use this product to make small rolled hems. I used to do alterations on prom/bridesmaids and wedding dresses but hated the tedious process of the rolled hem. On my first try, I was successful with this tape and it took soooo much less time. The peplum on the doll dress required a rolled hem and it was about the size of a 12" circle. Even with that tight of a curve, it turned out perfect!

I use it for hemming

I purchased this product to work with waistbands and to explore a technique for narrow hemming on sheer fabrics, which I had seen in a sewing video online. It worked great for both uses! As a hemming aid, it is used for stabilizing the edge and for turning it under at the same time. You just trim the excess and can save the remainder of that width to use again for additional hemming.

I’ve only seen the videos on this product and it turns out that it works just like the videos. It’s an amazing tool to save time on sewing techniques.

Plastic spool hubs had fallen off during shipping. Flimsy cardboard used. Otherwise the interfacing looks as it should

Works well for woven pants

Ordered this to hem a bridesmaids dress for a friend, after watching a few how-to YouTube videos on narrow hems. The hems turned out perfectly. The only problem? I had to order the whole roll of 50 yards when 3 yards would have been enough. Perfect product for what I needed.
