This is the best wax ever. I have been using for at least ten years and finally getting around to writing a review. I can do at 4 am or 4 PM. There is never a parking problem. I don't have to wait to be called. I just pop it in my microwave and BOOM, ...apply, let it harden and pull it off. There is a jar in my house at all times. Pssst- if you need more "sticks" the Dollar Tree or any craft store sells them (think Popsicle sticks) and you can do as often as you need to. Like OMG- if you are paying to wax your chin or upper lip, you need to get on board with this stuff- and it has to be the Brazilian. If it is gentle enough for a Whoo-Whoo - it's gentle enough for your face.

I originally purchased the Brazilian Bikini Wax Microwave Formula set where it came with the Pre Hon, Pre-Epilation Oil, Wax Off Lotion, Slow Grow Oil & small/large applicators & have continued purchasing the wax by itself now replenishing my 5th jar. I don't think women should complain about the pain considering what this product is supposed to do, but just like if I were to go to a salon, I take Advil 30 minutes before I wax to help with the pain & swelling, but having done it so many times now, I no longer need pain medication to help. It's tolerable now at this point! I suggest using the Pre Hon, then Pre-Epilation oil as directed because it helps the wax ease off the skin easily when you're ready to pull off the wax on the area you've applied it on. There were a few times I tried it without the Pre-Epilation oil because I felt it made it too slippery, but it was more painful to pull off the wax. I realized I had to apply very little of Pre-Epilation oil for it to work & voila! It's become easy for me to do my own brazilian wax within 10-15 minutes. It can get a little messy depending on your own application & it will take practice especially if you have no clue what you're doing, but I don't think these are good reasons to give this product a bad rating (like some people). The only thing I would recommend from experience is that depending on the voltage of your microwave, it takes me 2 minutes to get my wax hot enough to melt down, BUT- I let it cool down for about a minute or until it gets to more of a caramel consistency (it's more watery when it's too hot) before I start using it. All in all, this product is amazing & definitely worth it when you save money from having to go to a salon to get it done, but to each their own!

This is my first time to use hard wax and it was so easy to use!! It wasnt perfect. I couldnt get it all off in one strip but it did pull most of the hair out of my underarm. What few it didnt take out which were really no more than a handful, i just tweezed. I did try using the GIGI soft wax before I tried the hard wax and for beginners i would definitly go with the hard wax because the soft wax will take a lot of practice because you have to put on only a thin layer. I love that you can put this in the microwave because I had never waxed before and i didnt want to invest a lot of money into not knowing if I would like it. I just did 15 sec increments in the microwave and also used an oven mit to reach in the microwave and mix it up becasue a few people said it blew up on them and I was scared of that. It didnt blow up though. It didnt even hurt that bad at all. If you are like me and had a bunch of very little pieces left on your skin just take some oil, I used argan oil for my hair, and rub it over and they will come off very easliy!! Love this product and will buy again!!

Title: This Wax Is a Crime – Still Stuck to Me After a Day If I could rate this below zero, I would. The GiGi Bazillion Wax is hands down the worst wax I’ve ever encountered—and I’m not a beginner. I’ve tried plenty of waxes, but nothing prepared me for this level of disaster. It’s extremely sticky. Not just “grips hair” sticky—this is “glue trap for humans” sticky. It didn’t pull off like it’s supposed to. It just stuck, smeared, and refused to let go. I followed directions and tried every removal method under the sun: oil, soap, warm water, scrubbing—you name it. It took me an entire day to get most of it off and even now, there’s still residue clinging to my skin like a bad decision. It got under my nails and wouldn’t budge. I’ve never felt so gross after a wax session. This wasn’t hair removal—it was a sticky horror show that ruined my evening. Final thoughts: never again. I wouldn’t recommend this to my worst enemy. It’s not just a waste of money—it’s a whole experience in frustration and regret. Rating: 0/10. Do. Not. Buy.

I've been using this wax for years. I really don't like soft waxes (which I've tried), but I've always had good experiences with this. I'll say upfront that I only use this on my upper lip - I'm not brave enough to do my own bikini waxing! But for the upper lip, I love this. I have pretty sensitive skin - after waxing or threading, I tend to break out. This is gentle enough for me that after most applications, I don't have any breakouts. The GiGi hard wax is really easy to use. Microwave for one minute, carefully press in a wooden applicator (seriously, do be careful, because there can be air pockets in the wax and it doesn't all totally melt - just be cautious and wiggle the applicator gently to let out any air), and check the consistency. If it's really runny, it's probably a little too hot. My mom taught me to always test somewhere inconspicuous first so I wouldn't burn my face, and I still follow her advice a decade later. Once you know the wax is at a safe temperature, just apply a layer and let it harden, then take a breath and rip it off. My hair grows super quickly, so this is a much cheaper at-home alternative. I use this wax every 2-4 weeks (depending on how lazy I'm being, mostly), and one container lasts me about a year. I've never finished a container, but I find that after that many uses/over that much time, the wax consistency degrades, and rather than easily peeling off, the wax tends to become brittle and snap. I've had good experiences with the GiGi Brazilian hard wax for many years, and I love the convenience of the microwave formula. If you're looking for an easy option for regular upper lip maintenance, I would definitely recommend this.

Applies smooth, instructions are clear for warming up, but man this is literally the consistency of melted GUM. Takes FOREVER to harden, which makes for an extremely sticky situation, and difficult clean up. I have wax under my fingernails, wax strings still stuck to my body… very annoying. Not a quick and easy thing. You might have to actually shower after using this

Omg all I gotta say is this is the most amazing hair removal wax I have ever gotten please try it out I had a really hard time with using other wax like veet and other but this is a whole another level of care and comfort and it takes under 5 mins to get done ✅❤️❤️❤️❤️

I absolutely love this product. Saw someone using it on youtube and wanted to give it a try. It has been a life saver during corona times. So easy to use for eyebrows as well as upper lips without any hassel. It probably needs to be heated more than a min as the product says for easy application.
