My cats go wild for the Tiki Cat Grill Wet Cat Food — could be their favorite yet!
✅ What I liked From the moment I opened the can, both cats came running. One of them is usually really picky, but she jumped in full force and licked her bowl clean. According to various user reviews, this line is often well-received by finicky cats. Quality ingredients and a meat-first formula. For example, the product is grain-free, and the “Grill” line is described as “Indulgent flaked fish recipes … high-moisture … real fish and shellfish” in broth. Good nutrition profile: Experts say this line has above-average protein, lower carbs, and is designed for cats who do better with high protein, low-carb diets. Variety of flavors: The Grill line comes in different seafood-heavy recipes, which means I can rotate them so my cats don’t get bored. My cat’s coat seems a little shinier, and she seems more excited at mealtime than before — always a good sign. ⚠️ Things to keep in mind Because of the high fish/fish broth content, the smell is stronger than many standard cat foods. That didn’t bother us, but if you’re sensitive to smells (or have a cat sensitive to fishy taste/aroma) it’s something to be aware of. It’s more premium than basic canned cat food, so cost is higher per can. If you have multiple cats or feed large quantities, budget accordingly. While many cats love it, a minority don’t — some reviews report a cat refusing certain flavors. Because it’s rich in flavor and fish-based, if your cat has a digestive sensitivity you may want to introduce it gradually and monitor for any tummy issues. Always check portion size and feeding guidelines. For example, for the 2.8 oz cans the manufacturer suggests feeding about 1–2 cans per 7 lbs of body weight for adults. 🎯 Final verdict Overall, I’m very happy with this Tiki Cat Grill formula. My two cats — one picky, one more adventurous — both seem to enjoy it, and I feel confident offering it because of the ingredient quality and strong user feedback. I’ll definitely keep buying it. If you’re looking for a wet cat food that rotates flavor, offers high-quality fish/shellfish ingredients, and is well-liked by cats, this one is a strong candidate. 🔍 Recommendation summary Introduce gradually (if switching from a different brand) to avoid tummy upset. Offer variety in flavors within the Grill line to keep things interesting for your cat. Consider cost if you have multiple cats. Monitor your cat’s reaction (taste preference, stool, coat condition) over the first week or two. Because it’s fish heavy, ensure your cat doesn’t have any food allergies to fish or shellfish before diving too deep.

High-quality wet food with clean ingredients and good moisture
This variety pack has been very consistent in freshness and overall quality. The food has a clean appearance with real shredded meat and good moisture, which makes it easy to serve and appealing. The 2.8 oz cans are a practical size for portion control and help avoid leftovers going to waste. It’s also been easy on digestion, with no issues after switching. While it costs more than basic brands, the ingredient quality and reliability make it a good value if you care about health and consistency.

Great quality
My cat absolutely LOVES this food. It’s good quality and doesn’t make me worry about junk ingredients. Definitely worth the purchase if you want to buy good food for your cat without breaking the bank

Didn’t realize it was just a variety of fish flavors
I should’ve looked more closely to the description. I saw the image and thought it was the same thing I had been getting every month, but lesson learned—color of the box doesn’t always mean it contains the same flavors!

High Quality, but Sardine/Mackerel Cans Are Not Good
So this is extremely healthy for cats, and it’s very natural. It actually looks how you’d expect it too, and smell that way too. The smell doesn’t bother me or the cats at all. Smells like seafood. I think the tuna is the highest quality ones compared to the sardines/mackerels. Every can is good, I split one between two cats. However I do NOT like the sardine cans. I’d say 6/10 times, the sardines/mackerels come with a BUNCH of bones and scales, which I feel like is a safety hazard for our kitties. I often have to pick out the bones. And the can I got tonight is what inspired me to write a review. Because great! You know it’s all natural! But I also had a bon head in the mix of the can, among a spine (common), and some random bones and scales. They are the worst cans to me. All the other ones are quality, but these ones are pretty bad. I feel like they need to filter it better somehow to avoid getting bones in there. However I do understand that’s how they get chunks of the sardines; but there has to be a better way to debone them. The cats will eat it, but pick out the scales, and one can the cat didn’t eat at all and I think it’s because one of the bones might have stabbed his mouth, since he barely touched the bowl yet ate just fine later. Overall, very healthy for cats, and I’d get this set again and again. Maybe find a tuna-only back. The sardines really set it apart for me to rate it three stars :/ I get this and then the chicken. I love Tikki Cat - it’s really healthy and hydrates your feline. It’s the sardine cans are low quality IMO and a hazard.

Cat loves it!
I've been using Tiki Cat for a while now and the cat absolutely loves it. I love it because it is made from real meat and fish with minimal processing and no artificial colors, flavors, etc.

My 5 month old kitten got sick on this.
My kitten has had great digestion with all the other brands and types of wet and dry foods we've fed her, but when I tried for the first time the Tiki brand, she immediate got the smelly stinky butt runs and has been a sick for over a day now. A bit of a fever, tired, asking me to help her but I can't. I'm not sure if it was the fish grill or the baby pate because she ate both within same day. But no more Tiki for her. I now have 18 cans and afraid to donate. The above grill fish did look like it might have mold and smelled very unpleasant but I just thought it was because it had chunks of fish. I gladly would home make all her food but she's a fussy cat and doesn't like home cooked (stewed, baked, fried) meats, alas!! Probably because it's not full of additives and attractants that many pet foods contain. And no way will I feed her raw because of parasites and bacteria and all the other problems that go with store bought raw meats.
