iProPower A1322 Battery Replacement for Apple MacBook Pro A1278 13" inch (Mid 2009, Mid 2010, Early 2011, Late 2011, Mid 2012) Laptop Battery

I got this to make use of my 2008 Macbook Pro for Windows and some old scanner hardware - the battery is a little easier to install than the multi-part units in later models which are quite heavily glued, and aside from the poor life mine had reached on the old battery, the trackpad click had gone - a sure indicator that your Macbook/Pro's battery needs replacing ASAP.For the price - the lowest I found - I wasn't sure what to expect but it was well packaged, with tools and instructions, it took about five minutes to swap then of course, a few hours to calibrate by charging the battery fully, then allowing the computer to run on battery and fully discharge. It shows around 6 hours life which is plenty, and it seems to deliver that with most tasks. Windows reports similar figures, the Mac has the proper Bootcamp drivers installed.The biggest giveaway that this is an improvement is that even after days off charge I can push the indicator button and it shows a good state of charge. To preserve the life of this replacement I am not leaving the Macbook plugged in, and will generally not charge it fully all the time. This is a cheap battery, and resurrecting an old computer of low value for short-term use - as such, it's exceeded my expectations and I think if installed and used wisely it'll do what you want it to - it's not going to make a 2008 computer with 2008 approaches to charging and maintenance, used as a full-time new computer, magically better - but it restored my machine to a healthy condition and of course, the trackpad works again!

Battery fit for my 2012 macbook air a1466, it makes my old mac work again just like new ones,battery comes with the necessary install screwdrivers , and Youtube is a help in doing this...best look at the battery to see where the screws are and how the electric wire plugs in, you get more than you paid,which the repair store will charge you £100+ ,highly recommend and thanks so much for this decent replacement battery

Battery has completely died after only 3 months. Laptop will not power on with battery connected.

My MacBook Pro functions as when new. Up to now this battery is exceptionally good, More than satisfied.

One of the better priced battery replacements available, unfortunately it was incomparable with my devise so can’t comment on ease of fitting or battery life

After meticulously following the battery conditioning instructions I have been using it for about a week.The battery lasts approximately 3 hours with the screen and keyboard lights turned right down.The old battery that had 350 cycles lasted about the same which begs the question?Do not waste you time and money!
