Deluxe Duffel Bag With Zipper For Gym, Travel, & Storage

I’ve bought a *lot* off of Amazon, and this is my favorite purchase of them all! Normally things are about the quality I’d expect for the price point, or below. This was so far above the quality, durability, and looks that I expected for the price point; it blew me away. I took this on a fly-in fishing trip to Canada: it was rugged, I was able to cram in what I needed, and looked great! A big army-green rugged-canvas tube-shaped tote. I would not recommend this for a carry-on, but as long as you don’t fill it with sand it is the perfect dimensions for checked luggage (for most airlines I looked into: it worked for my flight with Delta). Just remember to keep under the 50lb limit! When empty, it folds up into a disk. I bought a strap to go with it for convenience, but the handle is super sturdy. Again, I can’t recommend this tote highly enough; it is literally my favorite Amazon purchase!

This duffel worked out great for me. I bought the 42" X 25" version to hold my backpacking gear so I could ship it as checked baggage on an airline. It held my backpack the Kelty Red Cloud 110, one of the largest packs made, two sleeping bags in compression sacks, two self inflating air mattresses, two self inflating pillows, a three person backpacking tent, stove, fuel bottle (new & unused of course). With all my gear stuffed in this inexpensive canvas bag.....I had one checked bag, there were no straps from my gear dangling and begging to get caught on airport luggage transport machinery, and the inexpensive canvas bag took all the abuse rather than some very expensive gear. This bag was exactly what I hoped it would be. I couldn't be happier. EDIT 5/30/2017: I just bought 2 more of these duffel bags. Same purpose as initially. I bought my 2 sons backpacking gear so these duffel bags serve as the protection when flying with our gear. But even close to home when I'm driving to a trail, I've started keeping everything in the duffel bags. That way everything is in one place and ready to go. All I have to do is grab one, two, or three duffel bags and throw them in the car. When we get to the trail head, all the equipment comes out and I just toss the duffel bags in the back of my SUV along with any equipment we don't want for that trip. These have worked out perfectly. I don't need them to look great. In fact, I like that they don't draw attention. I don't need them to be waterproof. I don't need them to be lightweight. I just need them to hold a lot of expensive gear and take the abuse of transport. And that they do very well. For those of you having trouble with the stated size, it's pretty obvious (after buying one) that the original stated 42" X 25" was a length and a circumference. It looks like since I bought my original, they have changed the listing to 42" X 15" which is the length and the diameter. They both describe the same thing, a cylinder 42 inches long with a 7.5 inch radius and 25 inch circumference. (D/2) = Radius . Pi X Radius squared = Area. Then Area X Length = Volume. In this case 176.71 X 42 = 7,422 cu in or 121.6 liters. My 110 liter pack fits easily but I don't have the pack loaded out to its full 110 liter capacity as I take the 3 person tent, bear cannister, sleeping bag, and air mattress and put them in the duffel loose. That fills the space and allows the pack to fit with the zipper closed.

Purchase size 36” x 13” x 13” Pros: Storage space Durability Lightweight Excellent zipper design Standard airline bag size Cons: No shoulder straps This duffel huge amount of storage - even in the 36x13x13 and as a checked bag on airlines is not considered oversized. It also weighs almost nothing, so even if you pack 40+ lbs in the bag, you won’t have to pay the additional weight fee. The full length zipper makes packing a breeze, and is a huge upgrade from a military duffel. Durability is a huge plus as well- have no fear of baggage handlers with this one (at least not for the bag- the contents may be another matter). The only downside with this bag is that it is a pain to lug around. The handles on the bag are super durable and great for tossing the bag in the truck or other short moves- but far from ideal when hauling around an airport, so you may want to look into getting some kind of shoulder strap if this is your intent. Overall, if you just want a great simple duffel that will hold a boatload and last forever, look no further- this is the one for you.

had a very hard time finding a back that would fit the jumbo sleeping bag (zero degree for fat guys). this one does it. and the opening is fairly easy to get the sleeping bag into and out of. with a little left over space for extras to be in the same bag. and comes with a shoulder strap (hidden inside the bag and doesn't fall out just because you open it and turn it upside down). I will not be over filling it or loading it with super heavy stuff, but for handling mid-weight, bulky things this bag is a good acquisition.

Nice durable duffle bag. We been through some things together. This bag us well made. Nice thick material that's made to last. It's lightweight, and huge. There's no smell. I'm not sure why I'm being asked that. Lol It's a great bag for sure.

The bag is huge and high quality. It’s exactly what I needed and actually exceeded my expectations as far as the material quality.

Aproximadamente tem 78 litros de espaço util.. a soma das medidas não ultrapassa 158cm (passa tranquilamente sem suplemento no porão do avião). Geralmente uso só malas rigidas da Roncato o Samsonite.. mas essa por 101 reais.. quis testar.. pesa 1.2 kg aproximadamente (uma mala rigida entre 5.20-6 kg) então colocando só roupa ou objetos que não podem quebrar.. economizo 4/5kg. O limite é de 23kg. O peso da mala é 1.2 kg. Sempre deixo 0.5 kg a meno para não ter problemas no check in. 23-1.2-0.5= 21.3 kg efetivos de peso transportável. A falta da alça para mim não é um problema (prefiro pagar 101 reais sem alça que 200 reais com alça.

The material is really.goood and strong. The bag is oversized way bigger than I expected. Bought it to fly home am.not.even sure of it's.allowed on the flight. It's really huge and material is really good. This will last a really long time. I recommend it for anyone looking for a great deal.

You can't beet a canvas bag for durability. This is tough, good stitching, I feel it will last for years. As to what I can get in it, a TETON Sport 3 man Mountain Ultra Tent, a tarp, self inflating 3 season sleeping pad, TETON Sport Down filled Mummy sleeping bag in a compression bag. 2 pairs of cargo pants, 2 short sleeve shirts, 2 long sleeve shirts, 2 pairs underwear, 2 pairs socks, 1 pair of underarmor long underwear, all in a compression bag. Camp chair, camp table, cook set and backpack burner/stove with large bottle of iso-propane, camp hatchet, camp knife, water bottle, solar panel, battery, phone, even a small 8" tablet for TV during downpours. I say all this so you get an idea of what to expect, it holds a lot? I am pleased with this purchase and recommend.
