Better Made Bow
Better than the bow that came with the violin package I bought. I'm a beginner violinist but I still recognized the better sound that this bow made.

Great bow for a great price
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the bow since it was lower priced. After I put resin on the bow hair it played nicely on the violin. Great for young players or advanced players. Very nice appearance and feels like a quality product. Also it shipped quickly and was packaged well.

Seems like a decent starting bow, but I'm not an expert!
I'm a band teacher (not orchestra), so I can't speak to the quality of these for use on string instruments. I actually bought them to have my percussionists bowing metal instruments (cymbals, vibraphone bars, glockenspiel bars) for special effects on a piece. A few hairs were looser than others, but otherwise seems like it will do the job. For that purpose, they seem durable so far (standing up to the stereotypes of percussionists) and the tension adjustment seems smooth.

I’m so sorry. I see what I did I hit the wrong product for review The review I did on the violin bow was for a lipstick. Now regarding this bow. I’m very much satisfied with the product. I’m a beginner player and really don’t need a real expensive bow. It’s doing exactly what I need in my beginning stages of learning

Bow was bent and hairs in such a way that it won’t play
In the first pic you can see a normal bow on the left compared to the bow I’m reviewing on the right. You can easily see how defected it is. The second pic shows how the hairs almost start to twist around the bow due to its poor construction. Extremely poor quality. It, of course, doesn’t work. I will not be buying from this seller again.

very cheap bow
cheap horsehair, broken strands upon opening package. poor sound quality. would not purchase again. am not sure I will even be able to use it.

Takes some time but makes the saw sing
Bought to play the saw. Requires a bit more rosin than playing a fiddle(violin) but once you get going the saw sounds great.

crooked and damaged hair
I just ordered it as a backup while waiting for the one coming in a month for replacement. Shipping was fast, but it came crooked.
