TojiroDP Damascus 7-inch Santoku Knife

I purchased this knife along with the Tojiro DP Damascus 3-piece Knife Set. I am a home cook. All of the knives are beautiful and functional for my purposes. I am constantly reaching for this knife even over the western-style chef's knife as I find the shorter length a little easier to manage for most of my prep work. All of the knives are great quality and slice with ease. This knife would make a great gift as it shipped quickly and was packaged beautifully. 10/10

High quality knife, razor sharp out of the box. Balanced and a pleasure to use

This technically doesn't fit the bill for a professional chef's knife, but who cares. Between my Chinese chopper (Henckels), gyutos (Shun and MAC), my sujihiki and about a dozen other utility knives, this is the one I reach for 99% of the time when I'm just cooking at home. Also sharpens easily with whetstones (though I just use my Spyderco most of the time for touch ups). Will seriously cut yourself (or anything fleshy), so take all necessary (and standard!) precautions when working with this thing!

the shape of this santoku is perfect with a bit belly so you can still do some rocking cut if needed. The knife is beautiful and simple.

La lama è sicuramente ottima ma pensavo che i giapponesi fossero bravi anche nelle finiture..l'impugnatura è mal rifinita per un prezzo così alto.Mi aspettavo qualcosa in più.

ジャガイモの皮を剥いた後、ほとんどチカラを入れなくても切れた！思わず笑ってしまいました。口金付きとそうでないものがあって値段が結構違うので要注意です。そんな事も知らず間違えて発送したんじゃないかとメーカーさんに問い合わせをしてしまったのですが、とても親切な対応でひた。このたび帰省中に結婚して実家近くに住む妹と話してた時に、この包丁の話をしてて、普段親の面倒も見てくれているので、感謝の気持ちもあって、同じものをプレゼントする事にしました。2023/1/3ですが明日到着予定だそうです。（早っ）妹は、とにかく鳥モモの皮をスッと切ってみたい！と楽しみにしているようです（笑）

初めてこの価格帯の包丁持って感じたことは、タマネギのみじん切りで目が全くシミない❗️最高でした。切れ味はどの位持続するかは、まだ分かりませんが良い包丁で満足してます。
