I really like that these don't squeeze the areas behind or in ...
I have a hard time finding glasses that don't put pressure on my temples and create a headache. I really like that these don't squeeze the areas behind or in front of my ear. The tinting is graded so it is lighter at the bottom of the lens. Sometimes the tinted part of glasses can interfere with reading, but with these you can easily look through the lower part of the lens. The lens quality is good, although I notice a slight difference between these and my regular +1.50 reading glasses - not enough to cause strain, but noticeable when I first switch from one to the other. The shape of the glasses is nice, although they are a bit flat (not much curve) across the front. I love that I can now read on the beach without worrying about how I am going to protect my eyes from the sun! Great buy.

Excellent Optical Quality !
The optical quality is excellent, meaning that the lens is well made and you can see very clearly not just in front of you but also on the sides. The lenses are well designed ! They also look good, but don't know about the durability, you probably need to treat them with care. I wish they came with a nice box and not just a plastic bag. Overall a very good buy !!

I love these glasses but the latest ones arrived and are the dark lens, not the light as ordered
Especially everywhere I go, I keep losing them, and buy another one, because I travel a lot. The lens is light, I find most shades waaaay too dark, also they make the best ever computer glasses cutting down the glare of monitors especially doing graphic art or writing. I keep leaving them at friends, they love them, so I give them away, and buy another one, now all my sisters have a pair! i really love these! They are readers, you can pick the strength, bifocals are awful, so I just keep buying these they work , update they are sending the dark lenses now, not the light as ordered.!

Quality optics
The aviator sunglasses are a quality product with clean optics. I bought these aviator glasses because I am an aviator but I expected them to be like readers with the magnification at the bottom only and none in the top. These glasses are magnifiers through and through which makes them ill-suited for flying. They are nice for reading on the beach though.

Aberrations at the FOV edge
Not bad looking, comfortable, and sturdy enough, but the downfall is the aberration at the edges. Look off center in any direction and its like seeing double. I've used many over the counter reading glasses over the years, including ones from the dollar store, and have never experienced anything like it. Not too useful for the ol' golf game. I certainly would not want to drive a vehicle with them. I ordered a different pair from another outlet and not only no problem, but came in a nice case. These arrived in a plastic bag. I'm a bit surprised they even arrived unbroken.

Not bifocal.
These are not bifocal readers. The entire lens is reader strength. I could read with them fine but anything past arm's length is blurry and distorted and the lens is much too large to look over it. The glasses themselves were fine so if you can see everything looking through readers then they would work. I've had over a dozen pairs of reader sunglasses and never had any that were not bifocal.

Almost exactly what I was looking for. (Updated review)
These are full lens readers. With my eyes, I actually use them as driving glasses, and the gradient tint is very helpful. They are light weight and do not hurt my nose after 3 hours of driving the way some glass lens readers I have been using for the same purpose do. My only nit pick is the hinges. (see update to this comment at end of updated review). They don't appear to be very robust and will probably fail soon. I am afraid to close the temples all the way because I think the hinges will break. Fortunately, I only use them in my car as driving glasses, so the hinges don't get too much exercise. If they put some decent spring loaded hinges on these, they would be 5 star. ***Updated statement on the hinges. After a year of use, my original pair has help up without problems. There doesn't appear to be any issue with the hinges, other than they look a bit weak. I have upgraded this review from 4 to 5 stars.

Used to be good, but no more...
I had to return these as defective. I purchased two pair in 2019 (+1.50, for distance) and they were perfect. I received a new Rx (+1.75, for distance not reading) so I ordered a new pair...only the very center of the lenses were the Rx, the top and sides of the lenses were not...so you cannot move your eyes to see objects, you must turn your head to see anything that is not directly in front of you...a rep at Readers.com said that he noticed a huge number of identical complaints from recent customers who bought the Conrad...it might be a bad batch from China, or they might be making them cheaper now...who knows...
