I had the chance many years ago to compare Mexican vanilla with vanilla from several other places, and I'll never buy any other kind. There is no comparison to other kinds. The waft of excellent perfume from the bottle when I opened La Vencedora told me everything I needed to know. This vanilla is extraordinary, having a rich, deep vanilla flavor that is great for cookies, quick breads, cakes, all kinds of baking. A drop even makes sliced fresh strawberries taste better. It comes in a well-wrapped glass bottle, and comes quickly from the supplier. I love it, and will not buy anything else.

I love this vanilla, it was given to me by a friend who had visited Mexico 35 years ago. Since I discovered it enhanced everything, I have never switched. Whenever anyone traveled, I asked them to pick up a bottle for me. I am beyond thrilled Amazon now gives me access to it. Thank you, Amazon.

A Texan took me to Mexico and said that this is the best vanilla with the red rooster cap. The vanilla is GREAT-- but the postage to mail it is so high --sometimes more than the vanilla. But the little --maybe 2 tablespoons bottles we are used too makes buying it by the quart worth the shipping expense. AND, it taste better--baking has an improved flavor; it is wonderful ! It is always shipped so well packaged. I have purchased 6 quarts over the years from that Mexico visit.

I was glad to be able to find it on Amazon haven't had that type of vanilla for years. I used it to make a cake and it was very good . Brought back a lot of good memories .

Good tasting Vanilla. Best price I could find and lasts a long time. The bottle IS glass so I would be careful if you are wanting to ship as a gift. But it was packaged well. Not breaks or chips in the bottle.
