These are very painful on the ears. It's hard to adjust the spring pressure on the ear pads.

I really liked the product, the only thing I did not like was the material feel a little cheap. But it works great, perfect sound and the extras that it comes with are good. I would purchase again.

I'm not a doctor or a nurse. We bought these so that (after a training lesson from my sister in law the R.N.) we could tell if our daughters lungs sounded OK or if it was time to take her in to the doctor. You can hear very well indeed with these. The rubber earpieces that come with them are very comfortable and block out surrounding sound very well. Definitely happy with this purchase!

I've used a more expensive stethoscope for years at work and it was great until a recent misfortune took place. Now that I was going back to school, I needed a stethoscope that wasn't too expensive but most importantly did its job. Because of the price and the lack of reviews (although I believe this product was on the list of top sellers and that made me feel better since I hate the idea of spending my money on lemons) I was a bit iffy. However, I brought the stethoscope and as soon as it arrived I decided to test it out on a family member to see if I could clearly hear anything. I could and there was no outside noise interfering. Of course, I do plan to test it out on other people to satisfy myself about this product (although I doubt my review will change). Sometimes inexpensive items can be a great buy and other times not. This product doesn't fall into the latter category.
