this was great because no don't need glue, nails, tools. Everything you need is in the box.
I am retired and this is a great way to spent time working on any of Rokr items. I've ordered two of them and will continue to order other items every once in a while to keep busy.

Great gift
I purchased this for a co-worker's son who loves to put things together. He's a big Lego fan. This is an advanced project that he can work on with his parents. I of course didn't open it but it looks like a nice quality gift and when my kids are older I will probably buy one for them as well.

Disappointed
This is very nice and challenging to assembly, I gave it three stars only because it’s missing the most important part … the lense. Seller is not replacing missing parts but the whole thing, it was a Christmas present …very disappointing

Great item
Completed the build without breaking any pieces. It really works. Charlie Chaplin looks good.

This was a fun puzzle to do. The pieces were fairly easy to assemble and the directions were straightforward. They also provided a few extra specialty pieces in case of breakage. (Used one) The film is a bit tough to feed through at the end but once complete, it works good. Your not watching a full length film on this, but the supplied Charlie Chaplain film is fun.

I've made several ROKR models over time, but this one is really impressive as it's fully functional. Using a mechanical dynamo and LED lamp, it's self powered and projects a small image fully demonstrating the basic mechanism of a film projector. Perhaps for the more experienced model maker. Highly recommended.

What an absolute fun build. We did it over two days and were obsessed with getting it done. Really enjoy it as a display piece on our shelf now.
