Is this jug dishwasher safe?

"DO NOT PUT IN DISHWASHER" is embossed on the bottom of mine.

Does it leak a lot/what is the extent of leakage?

I've had 2, my brothers have had like 5 over the last 15 years. They all leak, varying degrees. Mine drained half out over 2 hrs on the way to a job once when it fell over! It also sweats a lot when you add alot of ice.

Could anyone tell me the interior dimensions of this water cooler?

It's 6-1/2 in wide at opening then goes to about 5-1/2 inch wide deeper down. It's about 9-1/2 inch from bottom to near top, but lid goes into it a little bit.

Does this bottle make the water taste like plastic? Thanks

Not initially, no, but after a few months of use it does start to flavor the water or whatever you have in there. An empty, clean jug has that plastic smell to it. It's like the plastic is breaking down over time.
