Made in Traverse City, MI
I inherited a Hammond B3 and a Leslie 122r. Not knowing a thing I found that the horn only moved fast. I ordered this motor thinking it bolted on. I was wrong. I fashioned the bracket off on the lower fast motor.Thing runs great. I live in Traverse City and bought this from a seller in Arizona but the motor is stamped Traverse City, MI.Organ sounds great. Slow and fast.

Leslie upper slow motor replacement for 122
Exact drop in replacement for a leslie speaker model 122. Easy installation and worked perfectly. The only negative thing noted was that this motor runs much hotter than the original, almost to the point of being painful to touch after a few minutes of operation, accompanied by a hot metal smell. I think that may be due to the type of motor this is derived from, generally referred to as an "air over" motor, one that is usually used in a fan assembly, and is cooled by airflow generated by the fan. Only time will tell if this affects the durability in any way. I will update later if needed.

Don't do it! Even if the motor is free.
These motors are terrible. They don't last. Very hard to adjust because of the short shaft. I have a lot of experience with Leslie slow motors for many years. I purchased 2 of these a few years ago. Big mistake. Keep searching for the old GI motors, rebuild and oil them, they will give years of service.
