Great product for pill-taking and picky eaters
My dog (a picky shih-tzu maltese mix) has been taking pills for her heart twice per day for a couple years now, and for a long time she was fine taking them using doggy pill wraps but then one day she decided she was not interested in those anymore. I tried a variety of brands and flavors but every day it became a struggle. In desperation I did a google search and discovered this product which seemed to work for a lot of other picky dogs and it 100% worked immediately. My dog loves it and med-time is not an issue any more.**Tips: Once opened you have to keep it in the fridge, which makes it thicker and tough to squeeze out of the container. But when it's cold, it's easier to mold around the pill. When it's room temp that part is harder. I've been taking it when it's room temp, squeezing it all into a small tupperware container, and then I put that in the fridge for daily use. I just mold a small amount of the paste around each pill and she eats it right out of my hand. It's a bit messy but worth it. I also cut the container open because you can squeeze out a lot more than you think. So yes there are some logistical cons to this product but it makes my dog's pill-taking so much easier that I don't care. I've already repurchased this multiple times.

Perfect topper for picky puppies!
I was having trouble getting my Yorkie to eat his meals because he is so picky. I put a little of this around his bowl and smear it on the bottom and not he eats every meal!

My dog loves it, hard to squeeze out of the bottle
I bought this paste so that I could distract my dog by squeezing it into his mouth when we encounter triggers on walks. Unfortunately, the paste is so firm that it is hard to squeeze the bottle with one hand so it doesn't work for that purpose. My dog however loves it so I have been using it to get him to take his medicine. I spread this on his licky mat and then crush his pills on top of the paste and he licks everything away happily.

A must have!
My dog is in several medications and will not take her pills in anything I've tried. Someone told me about this paste and has been a game changer! I just give a little bit cause it is high in fat.

Great for medicating elderly cats
This product was a game changer for our elderly cat. He requires two doses a day of thyroid medication. We cut the pills up into about a half dozen small pieces in hopes he will not detect them in his food, pill pockets, or any other cat friendly treat that might disguise the pills. No matter what we used, 50% of the time he would find them and spit them out. This would cause him to refuse to eat anything else, resulting in weight loss over a period of time. Not good for an old cat such as him. We stumbled on the Arden Grange tasty liver paste after considering trying human brand liverwurst out of desperation. We found that the consistency of the paste along with the flavor hides the pills so he can't detect them. It also seems to stimulate his appetite. Whether it is actually making him hungrier or keeping him mentally calm since he's not finding ill tasting foreign objects in his food, the result is that he is eating his complete meals now.

Really hard to dispense for medicine.
Got this to give medicine to my small dog as she is refusing Pill Pockets now. It's really hard to squeeze out of the package. After opened it says to refrigerate and use within 10 days. So for my small dog, it was too expensive. The Kong easy treat works much better for medicine dispensing as this product doesn't meld to the pill. It stays in the round shape that comes out of the tube. Hard to wrap around the pill. She seems to like the taste however.

Really hard to squeeze out of tube
The dog seemed to like this product, it was placed in a kong as a distraction. However, the product is super hard to squeeze out of the tube, especially when refrigerated after opening. The tube is fairly small, we only got 3-4 "servings" , so overall costly.
