Bell + Howell 9530G Clever Grip Air Vent Portable Phone Car Mount

Works great, does a good job at keeping the phone hands free, pretty much close to eye level (depending on where your vents are). Can hold pretty much any phone (I tried it with iPhone and Samsung) sung a secure. Easy to place the phone there and remove. I leave the device inserted in the vents, and put the phone there when I get in the car. Suggesetion: when using the AC or heater, it's better to direct the hot or cold air at other vents, towards the feet or the windshield, so the phone doesn't get too hot or too cold. Also, I ordered from Emson and got it just right and well packaged. However, when I previously ordered from another vendor (they sold a set of two) they showed the newer version as seen here, but shipped the older one which is inferior and doesn't do a good job, so watch who you order from. Again, I do recommend Emson, you get exactly what you order.

I was worried about this product damaging my vent but it has worked very well. It is easy to apply and simple to take off. I have many relatives and friends who live out of town, so this really helps when I'm on the road. I put my IPhone on the map app and attach the phone to the clever grip and it stays in place the whole time. Excellent product!

Worked back in the day but no longer fits the bigger phones.

It DOES WORK, but beware to buyer that if you have a smart phone that is in a protection cover like I do, Your might be in for a real stretch getting the holder to reach across the diameter and the depth of the protector. Mine barely made it. Also be aware that while the picture looks like both arms can stretch to accommodate huge phones, only ONE arm will adjust to accommodates different sizes, not both. If you can get your phone to fit (Its more likely it will than not), its a champ holding onto a air vent. I missed seeing a speed bump the size of a small mountain, and while it almost destroyed my suspension, this product did not fail by dropping my phone not loose its grip on the vent. Would I buy it again? Yes. Would I recommend it. Yes. WHY: Its functional, cheap. Its small size makes it store easy as well.

The"Clever Grip" is small, and blends in with my dashboard (see pictures). I can attach my incased IPhone 5c to the grip with one hand (using one side of the phone, just slide the arm and place it inside the grip. To remove, just hold the phone and slide the arm). $14.95 is too much to pay for a mount this size, especially when comparing the "Grip" with other phone mounting products. But its a great phone mount. We'll see how it holds up with heat/air blowing through the vent. This grip can hold a phone that's at least 3 1/8 inches wide. My incased phone is 2 1/2 inches wide. Make a great gift!

Decent solution, holds my iPhone 6 Plus (w/ Aduro cover) just fine, but the grip comes off the vent when I pull the phone out. Requires two hands to remove the phone from the grip. Not necessarily a big deal, but the swivel is fairly lose, which means that the phone can tilt to one side or the other. Still, a decent deal for a low-profile, easy to install/uninstall solution.

So far this is as good as the advertisements shown for it. The only difference I see is that mine is very stiff while turning, so if you want to turn phone sideways you need to hold the base or take it out of the vent (so the vent won't get damaged) and turn it and stick it back in. In the commercials they easily twist it back and forth. This is not a deal breaker for the product and would rather have it tight than sloppy. I bought one for everyone in my family and my husband now travels with his to use in rental cars. I'm considering another for his briefcase so that he never has to worry about forgetting it. Is light weight and small so easy to travel with as well. Been great for map quest use. I had purchased a phone holder specifically for one of our vehicles made just for that car at a much greater cost and had nothing but problems with it constantly falling off. I would now have to drill holes in the dash to keep it in place or damage the surface with a permanent type glue which I will not do. Wish I had tried this product first. Highly recommend.

I truly expected very little with this product and I am pleased to say that I was very surprised by it's sturdy construction, well developed clamp grip in the back, which allows the user a vertical and horizontal positioning (actually, it would angle the phone too). Gripping my Droid Maxx it seemed quite flimsy, as if it would fall out rather easily, I used it during a 600 mile trip were I was going over a variety of terrain and it was outstanding. I love it, a great device to manage your phone while driving. The product arrived on time, as described by Amazon & manufacturer, it was shipped without issue, arrived within prescribed estimates, the packaging was undamaged, and the product itself was unmolested and made with quality materials. Description, photograph, website presentation, and what arrived are the same-size, shape, color, and it matched my expectations.

Because of my job, I switch cars daily This clip is perfect because it is compact and super-simple to remove and reinstall It is easy to lose if you do change cars a lot, as the dark colors blend in with most vents. I added a white sticker to the flat part that holds the phone, so I would see it when I clean my stuff out of cars

Just what I needed.

Good item, feels robust holds phone well and you are able to swivel the phone in the holder from vertical to horizontal, good if you are using your phone as a sat navigation.

Simple product yet surprisingly good. I use it daily especially now with the punitive distracted driving laws here. Fits easily and securely into the vents and always holds my iPhone perfectly in place

A very good option for safe driving while using the phone.
