I have only been using the daytime product for a little over a week and I really like it. I read some other reviews and took their advice so this is how I use the Serum: After cleaning my face I put on the Serum. I then use Kate Ryan's DMAE Serum to help with firming my skin, then finish off with a moisturizer and sunscreen. When I put on the Vitamin C Serum my skin does turn a little red around my cheeks and goes away in a few minutes but I have not experienced any irritation at all. At night I use Kate Ryan's Vitamin C Night Serum and follow-up with the DMAE Serum.Now, I'm not going to say I see a dramatic difference in one week but I have seen a lot of information that Vitamin C and DMAE help mature skin. My skin looks pretty good now so I want to make sure I age gracefully! I do think my complexion is looking fresher in the morning. What I really like about Kate Ryan's products is no mass production of huge batches. They are made in smaller batches and every bottle I have contains a production date and an expiration date . . . it makes me comfortable there is a focus on quality control to ensure I'm getting fresh product made to the right specifications. I also like the fact that Kate Ryan's products are cruelty free, and free of parabens, fragrance, etc. I will definitely continue to use Kate Ryan products . . . . I'm looking forward to trying the Oil Cleanser next! Oh, and did I say the packaging my products came in are beautiful . . . . . .

If you care about the ingredients in your skincare products, you will fall in love with this serum. After years of selecting products based on marketing rhetoric that ended up producing no visible results, I decided to dig in and educate myself about the actual clinical research. After doing that, it became important to me to incorporate high quality antioxidants into my daytime skincare regime. I googled a long list of about 6 or 7 superstar antioxidants that are clinically proven to produce results, that I ideally wanted in a serum -- that google search brought me to this product, and ONLY this product. Not only that, but this serum incorporates even more antioxidants than my "ideal" list, including tetrahexyldecl acorbate, which clinical research has shown to be the most potent/effective form of vitamin C. Truly, truly impressive product. I was sold. I also like that this company produces things in small batches, as it ensures that these sensitive ingredients don't break down and lose their effectiveness before you even open the bottle.This is clearly a company that knows their stuff, and their products are for smart consumers who do, too. No marketing rhetoric or empty promises here. I am totally sold on the value of this product. Kate Ryan, please never change this formula! (unless you are somehow, amazingly, improving it, which I am not sure is even possible) As long as you offer it, I will be purchasing it.

So i, like many other women, have tried so many various skin care products ranging in prices from drug store to ridiculous! I had seen this product mentioned in a recent magazine article and decided to give it a try as i had been searching for a reasonably priced vitamin c product. So, i decided on a friday to place an order, and was very happy to see the small box arrive monday morning!…The packaging is very nicely done, and being a sucker for cute packaging, this won be over from the get go! Adorable presentation aside, I immediately opened and applied the product. It is quite a dark orange color (make sure to shake it first!) which is very normal for vitamin c products. There is virtually no smell and it applied quite smoothly not sticky. Within just a few moments, the serum had completely absorbed into my skin. I have now been using this product for approximately 2 weeks and can honestly say that i will be happy to re-order this product when my bottle is empty. I do notice that my blemishes have been clearing up quicker and my face seems a little more even toned. Very happy customer and will continue to use this product and potentially experiment with some of this company's other products! Thank you!

I love this product! It works well and doesn’t irritate my skin like some vitamin C products. I am very sensitive to strong smells and have has no issues with this. I loved that the company took their time to package nicely with a nice note and sample of another product. I will definitely buy again! Thank

There are two things I look for in a vitamin C serum. Cost effectiveness and color. I should have read better, my bad. When it said .5 ounce I thought that was the amount of vitamin C, not including the other ingredients. This is about half the size of every other bottle you would order, which makes it quite expensive. Also, as others have mentioned mine was also orange, with some darker orange floating around in it which would not blend together. This may be the way they intended, but I have never seen this before. I have been using vitamin C for years, and cannot tell one from the other so I do not know if this is in any way special for this price, just cannot tell. I usually avoid products that have given people people free or low cost samples to write reviews, but did not realize that there are some of those mixed in also.
