POLYWOOD NCC2280GY Nautical Arms Chaise, Slate Grey

Very good quality. Material is durable (I needed something that could withstand the Arizona summer). They look great. Easy to assemble and minimal number of parts. Each ship in 1 box that is fairly heavy (2 people to move it or a dolly). I highly recommend using an electric screw driver to assemble, it can be done by hand but would be more tedious. Fairly comfortable for the bare wood version (as much as you can expect). If you need something for long periods of laying on then I would recommend getting cushions as well. Overall great purchase, great value.

Heavy duty, no rust! Holds up very well in rain, looks very nice with cushions. Fully adjustable back (sits upright and has several laid back angles, goes completely flat as well). Very level lounger and I like the low set arm rests- I can reach over easily to the side table without the arm rests getting in the way. Bonus that they are low enough to the ground for the grandkids to sit on easily with their feet still on the ground.

These chairs are exactly what I was looking for. Polywood is the only way to go for longevity. I bought four for around my pool area. I won’t have to worry about needing to replace them. Easy to assemble. Very spendy but high in quality

sturdy. heavy. so will withstands winds. put together on carpet because the plywood will get scratched up on cement. you build it upside down. The screw bags should be separated. We accidentally used the long screw on the legs and punched a hole through. the short and long screws look the same so pay attention. the arms should come up higher, as they have no use where they are positioned. you can’t rest your elbows on them. but i like the lounge very much and will be buying another. color is true slate gray. my husband is 6’4” and his feet do not hang off end. it’s perfect for him. could be 5 stars if the directions were better and the screws were separated. the lounge itself is 5 stars.

The chair is very sturdy and should last a long time. However assembly is really difficult if you do not have the right tools and I don't. All the screws are allen head and unless you have a power tool with and offset allen wrench attachment be prepared for a workout. Using the supplied tools is a joke. Most screws with the little space to turn them only allowed enough for at best a half turn. The holes were not fully drilled out so there was a lot of force required to screw in. All in all you can put it together but it is tiresome. All the screws went in from the inside of the chair. If the holes were recessed and you could go in from the outside and the screw heads were either Phillips or slotted the any power screw driver would have been easy to use. There is one large negative. The seat cushions. They are special size so if you want the proper fit you can only purchase the Polywood cushions. Turns out they are not readily available. No matter where you look they have a 6-8 week lead time. Apparently the chairs dimensions are not standard. I was lucky and found a Polywood cushion on ebay.

You get what you pay for. Excellent quality, wood texture finish. Be careful with the 4mm screws. Decent quality but heads are a little soft. I used a top tier Milwaukee drill and Milwaukee hex bit to flush install, then tighten with supplied tool. Fit and finish are top notch. Packaging is great. Two people makes it so much easier to put together.

I just put the products together and it is exactly what I expected. Heavy and sturdy. The only thing I can say that may be helpful to future buyers is the product looks like it was made from plastic, as it was, rather than a wood product. So, it doesn’t have that wood grain look. I Purchased, the slate gray color, hoping it would look somewhat like weathered wood to match a dining set I was purchasing ftom another manufacturer at the same time, that will sit near each other on a balcony. The dining set looks and feels like weathered wood. So the two sets don’t match exactly, but I’m okay with that. The other company didn’t have this style of lounge so a person couldn’t lay out face down to get sun. I would also recommend buying the lounge with arms for the extra money. This is a great product that should last for many years. No more spending $150 every couple of years for folding lounges where the fabric and frame gives out to renters use and constant sun/salt/rain exposure. Not to mention the time I’ve spent having to visit the property 2 hours away to find and purchase replacement lounges every couple years over the last 20 years.

This is a great product with subpar customer support. I ordered 2 chairs, one came with all the screws needed the other came with nothing. I am still waiting on a reply from Plywood going on day 4 now. I hope the rest of my order ships complete. We are changing everything in the backyard to Polywood. Lets hope customer service improves! Update***After 5 weeks the screws arrived. Such poor customer service!!!!!!!!
