Yes
I bought this as a gift for someone who is learning to play Magic: the Gathering. I received 102 cards, of which 10 were Rare (gold symbol) and 92 were Uncommon (silver symbol). The variety and condition of the cards were decent. I don't think there were any repeats. There were more Black cards, proportionally, than any other color (about 1/3 of the uncommons were black), but otherwise the distribution of colors in this selection was even. I recommend this item and seller because they arrived on time, in good condition, and the variety of the cards was great. This is a great way to add new cards for someone who is just starting out and doesn't know which cards to add to his/her deck(s). Don't buy the 1000 packs of old magic cards unless you know what you want from them and you are happy to have an extra 500+ extraneous cards to turn into art projects.**Additional Note: Getting decent cards depends on which company is fulfilling the order. The first time I bought this, I got a great selection and no repeats. The second time I bought it, nearly every uncommon I got was repeated, and the cards were kind of lame. The two orders -- same listing on Amazon -- were processed by Super Games, Inc. (1st time) and MTGbiz (2nd time), respectively.

Not a single rare
The color mix seemed good, but there were a lot of duplicates and, most importantly, not a single rare. All there were was 100 uncommons. Not a very good value. I’ve had beater luck with less expensive purchases of mixed cars on Amazon. I won’t be buying this again.

Great set, wonderful for beginners
Just got this in the mail and I really like what I see. I'm just starting off with MtG so it's nice to have a variety of monster and spell cards. I've skimmed through most of them and haven't seen a single land card which is good since I have a core builder set coming in too. Cards come from the M13 collection, Avacyn Restored, Gatecrash, Return to Ravinica, and two or so other sets so it's variety that can't be beat for a really good price, all cards in perfect condition. I'll likely buy some sets again.

Recommended buy, but nothing unordinarily good.
I ordered 4 of these boxes for Christmas. When they came in they were as advertised- no Commons, and 10 rares per pack. They arrived promptly and all in very good condition. I even was happy about getting duplicate Uncommons, after all, you need 3 or 4 copies of a card for building a consistent deck. But then I opened another pack, and another until I viewed all 400 cards. In the end, I was a little unimpressed. After sorting everything, I could tell the packs have a certain order when they are assembled to be sold. The cards come mostly from two or three different sets, and although there are many different cards, I ended up with a lot of groups of 6-8 or even 10 copies. 8 copies of a card is okay if the card is useful enough to put in multiple decks, but a lot of the cards aren't that outstanding. After going through the lot, there are some cards that I can trade 4 of and keep 4 for myself, but there are also unfortunately some cards that will see no play in my decks (That's kind of how card collecting goes though...)I'd like to recommend this still, for the sheer fact that it's a good buy for the money, and if you only buy maybe 2 packs, you might get less clumps than what I saw. Or if possible to find different sellers that don't all pull from the same lot, you might have more luck than me. Otherwise, it's a decent way to supplement a few of your decks and maybe get enough new cards to build 1 or 2 decks as well. Another plus is opening up random cards and finding where they can fit, as opposed to buying exactly the cards you need for each deck (I prefer the random element of collecting, myself).

The gamble paid off!
First thing you have to know is multiple vendors fill this, so instead of looking at the 3 star rating, check out the individual vendors and look at THEIR ratings. I got this from MTGbiz, and I couldn't be happier. Everything arrived in perfect condition, on time, and was exactly what they said it would be. The cards spanned a lot of different sets, including many that were newer than I thought would be included in a bulk listing like this, and all 5 colors were fairly equally represented. The basic breakdown was this:Blue - 17.Green - 17Red - 33Black - 8White - 14Artifact - 9dual/multiple colors - 12FOR A TOTAL OF 110All were in NM condition and the package included 13 rares. BID WITH CONFIDENCE.

Exactly what it says, 100 uncommon/rare cards
This was prime eligible which made shipping super fast. All the cards are in great shape. Most look like they are new. There are more duplicates in this set than in another similar set that I bought, but it is not excessive at all.I got a TON of artifacts in this set. Granted what you get is pretty random, but I am super happy to have all of these artifacts available to me now.The color/rarity breakdown of what I got is as follows:White 7 (1 Rare)Green 10 (3 Rare)Blue 18 (0 Rare)Red 12 (2 Rare)Black 14 (2 Rare)Colorless special land 1Artifacts 19Artifact Creatures 8 (2 Rare)Combination Color 11I am really happy with this purchase and will probably pick up another set like this when I get some more decks sorted out.
