Light-weight cardstock with a slightly textured surface
I bought this for one specific project, but it's ended up one of my go-to papers for all sorts of things. The paper is crisp, but has a slight tooth that woks well with the color. It's the fancy version of a kraft paper bag!It cuts well in my Cricut, and works well with my Cuttlebug embossing folders. I really like how it looks embossed. The description says it's 65lbs, but feels maybe a little lighter than that. It works nicely for cards, or even small accordion fold books. I have also used it to make small luminaries, but it's almost too lightweight for that purpose (in my mind). I don't think I'd use it by itself for structural paper designs, though it might work well laminated with other papers (I debated deducting a star for this reason, but one paper can't do everything, and what this paper does, it does very well). It also accepts stamps and ink nicely; because the paper's surface isn't completely smooth, there may be some stippling to your stamped design in solid areas, but I rather like that effect. I've included several photos of projects and samples I've made with this paper. If you found my review helpful, please let me know by clicking 'yes' below. unfortunately didn't work for me
I really liked the weight, color, and look of this paper, and I wanted so much for it to be the right thing for my brochures. They looked fantastic printed on the kraft paper as it fits right in with my product's aesthetic. I received compliments on their appearance from the friends and family who previewed them, but sadly I never really got to distribute them to customers or retailers.Unfortunately, no matter what I tried, the ink flaked off of the surface of the paper - even using a laser printer with a brand-new toner and the dpi cranked up - as soon as people's fingers touched them. I tried several different printers, different types of printers, different programs...nothing really made the printing stick. I'm not sure if I just got a bad pack, if the paper is just pressed loosely, so the pulp flakes off easily, or what...but I was disappointed that they didn't work for me.

More kraft paper than brown bag.
Overall a really nice product. Came in nice packaging that protected the paper along with a sampling of other papers they carry. Worked in my auto feed on my laserjet printer but I had to make sure and select the right paper/quality setting. If I used fast or econo mode the ink smeared a bit.See attached image of a sheet of the paper between a grocery bag and a lunch bag; the color is not "true" brown bag. Still worked well for my purpose.

Meh...not the 'tan' kraft I was expecting
This cover stock is ok. I was expecting it to be a bit stiffer as I had recently purchased a 60 lb cover stock at the local craft store and wanted something slightly heavier. The color is more of a chipboard grey/brown than kraft (which, to me, is more of a tan color). The item is as described, so I can't really fault the description; just that the color really wasn't what I expected. The weight of this cover stock can be compared to very light/light weight scrapbook card stock. It punches easily with decorative punches and could be easily used with any style of die in a diecut system (wafer-thin chemical etched dies, low profile and steel rule) or with an electric cutter. There seems to be little 'shedding' of fibers when taking this stock off of a cutting mat. It is suitable as a base for card making. Unless you are making small boxes, I don't recommend this stock for box making (too flimsy).

Perfect paper for rustic print making!
I purchased this paper for printing in a letterpress class and was very pleased with the results. It has a nice weight to it that is thicker than computer paper, but more flexible than cardstock. When run through in the press I only needed one sheet of paper for packing to get a good imprint. I love the natural, brown-bag look, which had little perfect imperfections, and gave a rustic vibe to my prints. I printed in both black and white ink, and both came out very well. For the quality and quantity, I thought the price was a bargain and would recommend this paper to anyone who needs a sturdy and malleable craft paper.

Great weight & feel but ink may smudge off
The paper has a nice feel & weight, but with my laser printer (Samsung ML-2165W), the ink smudges off a little. It wasn't a big deal for me since I was going for an "aged" look, but it would be an issue if I needed to achieve a more crisp & clean look.

Lovely!
I used these for my wedding invitations and ceremony programs fans. They printed well on my laser jet and ink jet printers, though we did have a little bit of smudging/ink transfer onto other sheets when we printed on the laser printer. Just make sure to keep an eye on the printed product as it comes out of the printer to avoid this! Rounding the edges of the final products classed up my stationary set. Printing on this paper totally added to the natural/eco-friendly theme of my wedding.

Good quality paper, terrible packaging
I don't usually write bad reviews for the way items are shipped. This item arrived completely loose in the box with plastic kind of just laid on top if it. I have included a photo. Luckily I was home to take my package inside immediately. It's raining today, if I hadn't been home and the pckage stayed out there for a couple hours, the paper would have been ruined. Aside from the way it came to me, the paper itself is great. A little darker and thinner than I expected, but I like that better for my project.
