Jake takes to the ice. He skates faster, shoots harder and drives everybody bananas! Review: Wacky Family Friendly Comedy - This is a movie about a chimpanzee who becomes an ice hockey star, which should tell you all you need to know about MVP. If that premise seems like one youโd appreciate, you likely will have fun with the movie and if not, then you arenโt likely to be won over here. The narrative is of course outlandish, as it centers on the chimpโs rise to glory on the ice, but for a fluff, family friendly ride, it covers all the needed bases. The movie has some an upbeat vibe and a positive overall message, while providing a good amount of silliness and of course, our beloved chimp going wild out on the ice. I am always interested in chimp movies and MVP gives the primate the central role, so thereโs plenty of chimp hijinks in this one. The humor is light and brisk, as youโd expect from this kind of movie and for younger viewers, the jokes are likely to earn some laughs, but grown ups might have some fun here too. I think it is a neat movie that has some silliness that could appeal to all ages, but obviously, MVP is going to be best suited to family audiences for the most part. Visit my site for a full review! Review: THE BEST MOVIE EVER MADE IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD - If I could live in a movie, it would be this one! The fact that it was made in the late 1990s and released 2000 gives it the perfect childhood nostalgia. The actors are perfect and the monkey is the coolest. The entire movie flows flawlessly and feels like a warm hug. It was made from heaven. I love this movie foreverโfor eternity.

A chimps voice finally heard in our society.
Chimp representation at it's finest. My very masculine son (who 7'6'' and 26 years old) really loved the scenes that had the chimp(s) in it. My son's love for chimp-based media can not be quantified by modern primate standards. I have not seen him smile with such crazed primal joy since our delightful sit through of Spymate. Spymate is a 2006 Canadian adventure comedy film directed by Robert Vince, written by Calvin Hansen, and starring Emma Roberts and Chris Potter. It was released to Canadian theatres on February 24, 2006, and on DVD in North America on April 11, 2006.This was one of the last films featuring Pat Morita, and was released three months after his death. Dustin Checks In will be our next chimpanzee inspired film. Pray for my son.

MVP-Most Valuable Primate
This is one of if not the best movie I have ever purchased for my boy(hockey players). They love this movie. When asked what they want to watch during tv time it is always this movie. They even enact this movie as they pretend play hockey. It is so cute and I love it. Great Movie!!! A++++++

I bought this for my god son who is an avid hockey player even in the deep south. It arraived on time and in excellant condition . He has told me that he enjoyed the movie and that he has invited friend over to watch it with him. He is 10 years old and I have found this movie to be a great choice for him at this age.

Love this movie, great price
This was one of my favorite movies as a kid, and I had to have it for my kids to grow up with too! Quality is good, and the movie is just as I remember. Can't beat Amazon's slashed price, either. Great buy.
