I think this is a fabulous probiotic. It really lives up to it's "intensive" caption. I am on an antibiotic that I've had to take for the past 20 months, and will need to continue to take, and in past times I have always suffered great stomach disturbances when on any antibiotic. However, with this HLC Intensive, I have had no stomach reactions to the antibiotic! An added plus is that it is supposed to be taken WITH meals, so no need to try and take it on an empty stomach. Only caution is to take it at least 4 hrs away from any antibiotic dose for maximum benefits. This is a wonderful product that I wholly recommend.

I've been using the HLC Intensive capsules for a while now as my naturopathic doctor thought it would help with my gut health and immune system. I was hesitant as I've tried many probiotics before with very nasty side effects. This product has an intensive amount of probiotics but is surprisingly gentle and doesn't seem to cause me all that bloating and gas that the others do. I have serious food allergies and tons of stomach issues and the product really tames things for me. Also, this product isn't cheap and Amazon has a fair price on it and I can get it quickly from them since you can't buy this in any health food or vitamin store that I've seen.

Wish it was less expensive, but this is the one my naturapathic physician recommends. I've been using for several years in conjunction with digestive enzymes and my digestion is near-perfect now. I used it double strength (3-4 daily) for the first month when I started, then dropped to twice a day for a month, then one a day. After that everything was great and I continue to use to help my system.

Best probotic I’ve tried. After a week had zero stomach or intestinal problems. Higher cost than some but worth it!

Bought it for my wife who has a history of stomach /bowel issues. We cut out the sodas (12 tsp sugar per 16oz bottle) and started on the Pharmax probiotic . Huge improvement in bowel troubles in just a week or so.

This formula requires refrigeration to maintain culture viability - They send it without ice so the bottle is worthless!!!

This is a high quality probiotic with a good amount of some of the most common strains. If you're looking for something a little better than what you might find at your local health food store, this is a good option.

We have tried LOTS of different brands of probiotics and these are by far the best. My daughter had to take a great deal of antibiotics as a baby and it weakened her immune system. These are the only probiotics that helped her get her health back!
